My mother purchased a Groupon to the Sandbar for $11 off so we went for lunch. Our server was nice and friendly and came around to check on us. But when we went to pay they wouldn't honor the Groupon and the lady that was ringing us in was rude and unprofessional. Telling us our Groupon was expired (which its good till 12/17/17) and we couldn't use it because we got sandwiches instead of burgers. And I don't understand the difference between the two and so on. I don't have a problem paying $30 for food but don't put out coupons if you won't honor them, you know? We will not go back and we are also writing to Groupon about this as well. I think the idea of the sandbar is great trying to help out the elderly but they will never last if they treat their customers like this.

Great meal at a great price, I love the cafe with a cause concept. Nice atmosphere and view of the river and Lizard Butte. We will definitely be back for more!
