The day before yesterday, I went to the store for the first time and bought a set of sheets that were labeled as queen size. When I got home, I realized they were actually curtains.nnThe next day, I wanted to return them, which they agreed to, but they wanted to give me a gift card for the credit. Obviously, I’m not going to shop there again given the situation, so I asked for a cash refund. The cashier was super rude to me, and I asked her to call the manager. She just said, “He’s in there” behind a door labeled STAFF ONLY. I went to find him, and as soon as we started talking, he was really rude and condescending. We hadn’t even finished our conversation when he just turned around and left me talking to myself!nnThey sold me something that wasn’t even what I bought, and they kept my money! I will never go to a store like this again with such terrible customer service. IF YOU CAN AVOID IT, DO IT!
I tried on this skirt priced at $5.99 and the tag came off, so I brought the tag went to pay and they didn’t believe me and repriced it at $17.99!! For a skirt that had a stain on it! I actually thought they were well priced and nice before this fiasco lol
Can’t even donate without getting attitude from employees.nDonated at the location on 12th and the guy accepting donations was super rude. So, we decided next time we will donate at the Kits location today at 7:15. Online it says donations close at 8. The man who came to the door decided he needed to lecture us. He said we should donate earlier, like by 6. I told him I had checked online and it said 8pm, he said that is the internet and this is real. He begrudgingly accepted our 5 boxes of donations.
A proper old school thrift store. The store is poorly ventilated, and a strong vinegary smell was present. Prices are very reasonable, and seemed to be a popular local spot
*No fitting rooms*nI really like second hand but I don’t understand how you can run a clothing store without providing fitting rooms.nAlso when I asked about fitting rooms I got the very annoyed answer: „It’s been 3 years now!“nI personally will not buy at Salvation Army anymore…
