Prices have gone up to $1.75 per item. It's getting to a point where I might just order off Temu if I don't need the product right away i.e. party decorations, balloons, napkins, plates, cutlery, cups etc...Just gotta plan in advance.nnStreet parking out front is $0.80 per 30 minutes and free parking is difficult to find.nnLong lines but moves quickly.
This store is huge that I likenThe bigger the more various stuffnBut one thing I don’t like and different with dollar shop is That there is no price tagnSo I couldn’t know how much it wasnSo struggle I hadnBut huge and cheap I think there sell everything
Great finds here and to my surprise, a lot of things here are cheaper than other dollar stores. All items I bought were $1.50 each, elsewhere would be between $2.50-4.25 each. Thank you to the nice older Indian woman at the cashier tonight. Sorry I didn't catch your name earlier. Will definitely come back here!
Compare with other dollar store, this is the worst one you can imagine. Just telling the fact here, I encouter 3 Asian females philipino maybe? rude extremely rude. Cashers are same, and the old white guy not sure what is wrong with him, even worst! Not recommended this store at all.
Was in DT on Fraser St today & broke something. I cleaned up the floor & took broken glass to front & asked cashier if I could put in her garbage - some places don't allow, she mumbled 'yes' under her breath. After I paid for my purchases she said she should charge me for broken item really? - removed one broken piece from garbage and repeated herself - twice more.nnBeen shopping here since first week they were open & due to finances I'm in the store every second or third day. I'm the person who cleans up other people's messes, orputs half drank bottles of pop beside service/staff door. I put carts away and baskets back in the holder....nnShe said I didn't half to tidy up, I should just leave it. Yes but I'm making up for the inconsiderate people who obviously DON'T CARE, I unfortunately for me, do. I like being able to find a basket, not find half bottles of pop on the shelves, etc. And one day when store was really slow she came into my aisle to see what I was doing.nnI have never stolen anything, never had the need despite not having worked this past 12 months!nnI DO NOT look.like a drug addict nor like I sleep in local park. Been at same address for 23 years & over 60 years old, dress clean & tidy, I don't smell. I've been through her till hundreds of times & always try to engage and be polite to my cashiers. I make an effort!nnI guess instead of telling her I broke something I should have just left it on the floor for other people to crush or trip over - what was I thinking in doing the right thing? I guess I was brought up the way you are supposed to respect others & their jobs and workplace.nnPretty insulting to do the 'right thing' and get treated like your a thief. I'd better not see her add an additional $1.50 to my next bunch of purchases. I've contacted head office for their take on this incident because equally that's not how you treat faithful customers either!nnThank you for reading my experience!
