This place is starting to get very greedy on prices specially for things they got for free. Some sweaters or shirts prices have been increasing as well to nearly same price as a store sells it for brand new. Also the manager Sergio I think is his name came up with a bad idea of bundling certain electronic items together which I only wanted the one item I didn't want the other item that was junk plus the bluetooth speaker I wanted isn't even worth the price they were asking for cause can nearly buy it for same price in store brand new. Sergio the manager who creates the prices for items is starting to get way over board on their prices specially since this store gets all their items for free in the first place then they turn around and try to rip people off for high prices lately while those items can nearly be bought brand new in store for nearly same price. Also Sergio the manager doesn't know how to properly give customer service, he's rude and not respectful towards their customers. I will no longer return to do any shopping at this store any longer because this Salvation Army is getting overboard lately on prices plus I don't like them bundling items you don't want when you only want the one item. Also don't like the fact this Salvation Army got rid of their change room so you can't try on clothing to see if it fits not only they don't allow you to try on clothes to make sure they fit, they won't even refund you your money if you go home and try it on and if it doesn't fit to bad your money is gone. Yes they'll exchange your item but what happens if theres nothing else you want then your money is gone. If they won't let you try on clothes they should at least allow you to get your money back.nnIn my opinion to anyone do not donate any items here because this store tries to rip people off from items they get for free with ridiculous high prices.nAlso don't shop here cause you'll be ripped off, also be wary buying any electronics here cause if you go home and it doesn't work your money is gone cause they don't do any refunds.
This Salvation Army is going down the drain, As a new young manager takes over, we learn what it looks like for people who don’t know how to run a business running a business. Not only have I heard multiple other complaints, but I’ve also discriminated against by Newest management I had my canine support in the store, He hadn’t done anything wrong, He was sitting by my side when the management came up and said I cannot have personal dogs in the store. I reminded her because he did not have his patches on that he’s still in training and has been into multiple other stores and just needs the exposure to new smells. On top of that, the manager also made a new policy that if there’s not a price tag on something that you are not allowed to buy it and you must come by the next day, it is not the customers fault that there is no tag on it, especially when they come up to the cash and ask to buy the item and asked for it to be priced. Not only is everything ridiculously overpriced, it’s Not being managed by the right people I used to love going to Salvation Army But I just can’t support the one beside me Is how management is to be. I even asked employee and they said that it’s not even with pay to be better employeess, Do you think if this was the case the manager wouldn’t be making all of these Brutal rules.
They have really nice clothes and very nice stuff there. I will be happy to shop there any day. Thank you for always keeping me safe and taking care of me while I'm in your store. Thank you
The Salvation Army was founded in London's East End in 1865 by one-time Methodist Reform Church minister William Booth and his wife Catherine Booth. The Salvation Army began its work in Canada in 1882, just fifteen years after Confederation, and quickly became a vital part of the spiritual and social service.nService activities include: hunger relief for individuals and families through food banks and feeding programs; shelter for people experiencing homelessness and support for those needing housing; rehabilitation for those struggling with addiction; long-term care and palliative care; Christmas assistance
i am giving a big salute to sergio the manager who solve my concern.nni bought electronics for the first time and i asked the guy who serve me “if its not working”is it possible to axchange it but he said “yes!but only store credit “i took risk to buy it since he gave me the assurance that i can exchange it with stire credit i mean who doesnt love thrifting? i went to the store by the next day to return but the employe turn back on me they would do anything “ i was dissapointed on how they treated me and sais they already talked to the manager?” oh yeah well i called to store and deliver my concern i know people made mistake but atleast hear me out i was telling them politely but some of them it said for us its working but for you its not we cannot do anything about it glad i called! and sergio was the nicest of them all!!!nnfriendly remindernnit was a lesson learn
