I’ve seen it all now in my older age. I’ve never seen minimum wage employees making $15-16 bucks an hour, have the audacity to ask you to pack your own bags. I’m not talking about at a self-check out either, but at an actual cash register. I boldly asked this male Indian employee with a goatee “We have to pack our own bags now”?nnHis response was to be defensive and it made my question to him so much worse. He said that they only ask if the customers have free time…. I had to bite my tongue because I didn’t want to get into a heated fight. Never in my 46 years of life have I ever had to pack my own stuff, not ever, even during busy holiday seasons.nnWait…What?nnHow about this Dollarstore employees.. When there’s one person in line, and you ring them through, why not, just hear me out on this, but do your job? Put purchased items in the bag? And maybe not make customers do employee jobs? Even if there was a lot of people in line and they’re too busy, that’s on them to call and ask for more help at the cash, and not for them to pass their work onto customers.nnAnd to be very clear here, I only gave a physical description here so that management can have a chat with this employee, and not due to any kind of prejudice. The only colour I see is green l, and when I see people being lazy or finding ways to not do their jobs, I fire people, end of discussion. That being said, I’ve never seen the women at this store be lazy, they’re always working hard.nn“Management”, if I see this nonsense again, I’m calling corporate directly. As for the date and time for better reference? October 25, 2024, 3:09pm. Check those tapes..
Stopped by this location after watching deadpool, I'm impressed. Overall the store is nice, employees were pleasant and they had almost everything I was looking for. I'll definitely be back to shop here in the future.
Google timings are until 9pm but when I reach @8:54pm they close the entrance for us… if this place is open until 9pm should be serving customers until then not before that. if you choose to perform good customer service make sure to open until the time displayed..
This store really needs to open at 8am like most Dollarama. A lot of people going to work and school in the morning in this neighborhood come on man!
Exactly what was needed in this area! Nice big clean store! Well stocked shelves. No huge line ups at the cash. Fully wheelchair accessible.
