I love this excellent island restaurant with gourmet healthy food. The best part is that it is dog friendly - my dogs could sit with me on the outdoor patio. Everyone thought it was so cute!

A very pleasant, shaded outdoor courtyard to sit in for a luncheon. Evan, the server was super! I tried the Halloumi Cheese sandwich...it was absolutely delicious, quite filling and it was served with a side of greens. This could become a new comfort food for me. Paired with soup, I did find it a bit too much for lunch. Next time I will probably stick with the sandwich.

Beautiful cafe next to the lake with breathtaking view. Well maintained area. Wishing a place like this would never close. Please come visit them and hopefully keep them alive. This is a rare gem place you will never find in city of Toronto. Thanks Rectory Cafe for wonderful service you provide!

Listen, I eat meat, that's what I do. This place though, had amazing vegetable sandwiches. Great for lunch and probably even better for dinner. Dessert was awesome and the dessert drinks were even better. Great experience to share with someone special. 5 stars.

Spent a summer Saturday weekend on the patio here. Even on a hot summer day, the patio can get chilly, and several patrons were asking for blankets. Overall, the meal was delicious and we'll likely re-visit this place during our next Islands excursion. They have a somewhat ridiculous reservation policy: we were told we needed to wait an hour without a reservation, but quite a few tables were empty. They should really leave some tables free for walk-ins: they turned several hungry groups away, not just us.
