Reviews
A top-notch eatery with some of the best food I have tasted in a long time. The vegan lentil dish I ate was phenomenal, with the different ingredients cooked to perfection. Their deserts are also worth trying, although I think the food steals the show. The restaurant is well decorated and dimly lit, which gives the space a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. Unfortunately, they failed to honor my reservation and did not give any kind of warning. We we walked into the restaurant and promptly got sent back to our vehicle for about 20 minutes. That was the only disappointment in a broadly excellent place to eat.
So happy we tried this place for the first time tonight. The food was so delicious, so many good choices on the menu it was hard to decide. Our server Janice was so lovely. Super attentive and friendly. Even suggested a certain vine for the dinner and she nailed the pick pairing with the lamb special. Can't wait to come back here next time we're in town. 10/10!!
Amazing food!!! The concept of the restaurant is to make as many things from scratch as possible … and one can really taste the difference.nHad the French Onion soup, which was more a game broth with some onions and baguette pieces was delicious!nHad the salad and requested some brisket Elk .. good combination. Everything tasted amazing. Will sure come back for more!
We went for lunch and when we arrived we were seated down the back of the restaurant by the bar and the stairs which is where the servers went up and down with food orders. The washrooms were up the stairs as well. So it was very busy at the bar area, alot of chat and hustle bustle. I found it very dark and dingy in that seating area and didn't make for a great dining experience. I am assuming it might have been the manager/owner not sure but he decided to sit behind us and have a conversation with what looked like the chef/cook from the kitchen. I found that distracting and not very professional having that conversation in the restaurant when there are people dining.nI ordered a Sweet & Spicy Margarita which was quite good. Then ordered a glass of wine. I then had the MOROCCAN BAKED BRIE which was delicious with that rhubarb and date chutney. It came with pickled grapes which I was undecided on as I didn't think it quite went with the Brie and chutney. It was very small and 22.00 for an app was a bit pricey I felt.nI then had the soup and Raven salad. The soup was made with Brussel sprouts and it was just okay. The salad would have been great if it had more dressing so that made it okay. It came with a few slices of bread and no butter, had to ask.nSo it was a bit of a disappointment all around. Ups and downs.
We loved this small and intimate fine dining restaurant in Jasper. The food and service were both excellent. Highly recommend if you’re looking to spend a little extra on dinner and treat yourself to a flavourful meal.
