The Ranch

The food was very good. Steaks were tender and cooked well. The wait staff was nice, but could've been more focused. They seemed busier than the restaurant was. There was only one person who worked the bar & hostessing, which caused a wait for both. I would go back.

My family came to eat here while on a camping trip in Hayward. We have two little ones who can sometimes be a bit wiggly when my husband and I try to sit down at a nice restaurant to eat. The staff at the Ranch pulled out all the stops for us! They pulled out crayons and paper for our little ones and our waitress brought a really fun cheese and cracker plate for them. They really made us feel welcome and comfortable and my husband and I were able to enjoy our delicious meal without worrying about our little wiggly ones!

The streak was delicious. The cocktails were made just as we requested and the service by our waiter Rich was outstanding. We're going back.

Food was good. Prices high for quality. Service was poor. Server was literally running but kept interrupting our service to take care of other tables. Certainly didn't feel welcomed, waited on or cared about.
