Located less than a mile from downtown Hayward on Highway 27, Flat Creek Inn & Suites features sixty-six recently renovated guest rooms. It is a AAA three-diamond rated lodging facility and Hayward, Wisconsin's only full-service hotel. The property is also home to the award-winning Flat Creek Eatery & Saloon, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

All guest rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. Ten rooms offer the comfort of a whirlpool. Free high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the property.

Matt Lein loves this place! Musky Fest can’t even compete with the fine cooking that is cultivated at this home style cooking restaurant. The service is impeccable. The Walley Cigars are fresh and fantastically seasoned. Overall a great spot for families or those that love home cooked and master crafted meals.
Very good fish fry for a good price. Food came out fresh and fast. The breading has cornmeal in it, which isn't my preference, but was seasoned and cooked very well. I didn't get a chance to try the baked fish, but it looked excellent. Definitely a good value and worth the stop.
We thought food was average.. we had the Nachos and Jerk chicken fondue, it came with yummy bread to dip in Gouda cheese we werent crazy about the texture of the melted cheese though but it tasted good. Our bar drinks Spicy Bloody Mary and a Grey Goose Vodka with 7 were really good!! The bartender was good at what he did, very knowledgeable and friendly, which was nice! We'd come back for sure!
This place runs a lot of ads on local radio stations so that’s how we heard about it. Convenient location right off of hwy 27. Employees are friendly and immediate seating. There are stories of large parties encountering slow service but my drinks and food arrived quickly.nThis place has a stone pizza oven, plenty of seating options, and a nice clean environment. See pics. They have a local brew on tap, Angry Minnow, which was very good. Also surly furious and spotted cow.nFood wise there are a few of each, see pic of menu. I had the flat creek chicken sandwich. It was good but not great. See pics.nFast free WiFi is a plus, up north here cell service is spotty. One thing to be careful of is that they stop serving at 8PM.
The staff was friendly, and attentive, but not invasive. We had calzone, beer a tropical sangria. I had special dietary requests and they met them. The calzones were huge, the crust was substantial and baked to perfection. The filling was abundant and flavorful. The marinara sauce was good and the alfredo sauce the best I've ever had! If you visit Hayward Wisconsin this is a place to eat!
