Super friendly staff. Food came out quickly and it was delicious. The skillets were very good. The country skillet with over easy eggs and the chicken tender skillet with scrambled. 10/10. Would stop for breakfast again.

I love the simple and tasty food at AFR. Friday Night fish fry is actually affordable!nAnd the atmosphere is low-key and friendly!

We received this restaurant as a recommendation after our visit at the fresh after fishing hall of fame and they were correct. This restaurant was wonderful.nnWe were immediately greeted with a warm and friendly manner and even though it was a busy Saturday we got a table right away.nnOur server was very friendly and attentive without being overly pushy.nnThe food was phenomenal. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich wad very tasty and the BLT club was unlike any sandwich I've ever had. The bacon was top notch and cooked to the perfect texture.nnThe cheesecurds were different than anything I've ever had and thats saying something. The had the crunch of a panko breading with the fry and consistency of a battered cheesecurd.nnIf you are ever in Hayward I would reccomend giving this place a try.

Good food. Decent price as usual.nOur waitress was attentive, but zero personality. Gave her a $10 tip on a $26 bill mother's day and not even a thank you.

Very friendly staff and an efficient kitchen. The full serving of biscuits and gravy is a large plate. Yum!
