The Raging Olive is home to time-honoured, classic dishes as well as bold and innovative twists on Mediterranean cuisine. Headed up by award-winning chef Nelson
Philipose and his skilled team, The Raging Olive stands on quality with fresh ingredients, exciting flavours, attentive service and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

My husband and I popped in here for a quick lunch while house hunting in the neighbourhood. We knew it would be good when we walked in and smelled the food! My husband ordered Chicken Tikka and I had a Jerk Chicken Pita Wrap thing. The salad was fresh, the wraps were insanely good and bursting with flavour. Meat portions were very generous... I probably shouldn't have eaten the whole thing but I couldn't help myself. Everyone in there was super friendly. I honestly would be more likely to pick a house in this neighbourhood just so I can be close to this place for takeout!!

Excellent food, and great service! I have been here a few times, and we've always had a great time. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, and make you feel right at home. Be warned, their portions are huge!

We were planning to go for Greek on weekend Sunday and was recommended by a family member which really impressed all of us. The food, it's portions are fantastic just take a look at the real picture taken, which says for itself.. and the Service was great. You'll should try it out.

We were travelling to Toronto and very good friend recommended us to visit this restaurant. I went with another family and entered this small place with average expectations. This is a small restaurant with 5 star quality in food. Since we were in a relaxed mood; we started with 3 kinds of appetizers and that affirmed our decision to have a great meals. This is really not just Mediterranean but intercontinental menu. Every dish had an eastern harmony of spices to bring out the best flavors for a North American customer seeking an intercontinental experience. The food is not spicy but flavored to excite our taste buds. I have added the restaurant location and details to my smart phone so that will go there whenever we would travel in that area of the country. The main course was generous in quantity also. The 3 variations of meat dishes we ordered required couple of boxes at the end to bring back our next lunch. It tasted great in for next day heat-and-eat. Extremely courteous service and we waited to complement the Chef. If you went to Raging Olive once, I am sure you will go there again and again!! This is our experience, Go TRY!!! You will be delighted.

A party of 4 people went to eat here based off of the great reviews. We tried everything from the hummus to the butter chicken plate and left it all on the table. Here's the list of food we ate: falafel, hummus, house salad, feta and tomato, coconut shrimp, rice, shawarma chicken, greek chicken and butter chicken. There's was not one thing we got that was edible. The falafel tasted like fresh cut grass. The hummus was more fluid than the water and taste the same. The feta tasted like grated Styrofoam in vinegar. If the rice was any harder, I would think they wanted me to cook it myself. The chicken shawarma had as much flavour going down as it does when it comes up from not being cooked properly. The butter chicken was so spicy and visually unappealing, once we tasted the sauce alone, we discovered we could not so much as swallow it let alone eat our meals. As I'm writing this, 2 of the 4 of us are puking from the severity of bad food. I have never in my entire life paid any restaurant for food I did not eat, as they have one task: to make delicious food. Entire dishes not eaten, fresh from the kitchen because of wrong flavour profiles and still we had to pay!? Save your money. Don't go by online reviews. This is not Indian or Mediterranean food. It is plain Jane, no flavour, Canadian food under the disguise of exotic food.
