This was the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to walking into here. I love the atmosphere. It felt like Greece. The owners were very friendly and had a real positive attitude. The lady who served us was very kind and funny she was very helpful and listened in we got our meals ordered there Rib platter, Greek Salad Hummas dip and there spanish dip. Is the flavors were there The flavors were there. The flavors were there and had no complaints well cooked.
Just had a not so pleasant experience this weekend. I ordered a Chicken Soulaki dinner, started eating it, and later discovered a used band-aid in the container when I went to warm-up the rest. The issue here is that I had already began eating some of it before I noticed, which is why I was even more disgusted.nnI am never one to usually write these reviews and always give the restaurants the benefit of the doubt. So, I called and asked to speak with a manager. There was not one in so they advised I call back at a specific time. I called back, asked to speak to a manager, and then explained my situation. I was told they were not a manager and that the best they could do is replace the meal or call back again later to speak to someone higher up. They were friendly but not very understanding. I was not looking for a replacement of the meal necessarily because I was turned off of the food understandablynnI ended up calling again for the third time when I was told they would be available and they put me on hold for an extensive amount of time to then tell me to call back later. It was dinner time, however, this was why I called earlier to avoid this.nnWorking in a restaurant for many years, I always appreciated customers coming to us personally to allow us the opportunity to make things right. However, I feel I gave them many opportunities to own up to their mistakes.
Sotiris Greek Restaurant was the perfect choice for Father's Day lunch in GTA West, selected by my husband for its authentic Greek cuisine. The atmosphere was wonderfully Greek, with a spacious setting that added to the dining experience.nnFor appetizers, the spanakopita and salad were fresh and flavorful. The calamari had a delightful crispiness, and the grilled octopus offered a clean and enjoyable taste.nnMoving on to the mains, we opted for the Gyro dinner and Moussaka, which was the highlight of our visit. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Moussaka, and the Gyro was among the best we've had.nnFrom the Sotiris platter for two, the lamb chops stole the show for me, though the pork, chicken, and shrimp were also tasty, with shrimp being my least favorite.nnFor dessert, we indulged in Baklava, which was a sweet ending to our meal.nnThe restaurant would be ideal for gatherings, with ample space and a welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress, Toni, was exceptionally kind and added to the enjoyable dining experience.nnOverall, Sotiris Greek Restaurant delivered on quality Greek cuisine and provided a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
Sotiris was an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful, the decor immersed you in a Greek vacation. Loved it. The food was fantastic, tasted great, authentic Greek flavors with very large portions. The signature Saganaki OPA Fried Cheese appetizer was an amazing start to the meal! We had a few bottles of Prosecco which were not chilled as well as they could have been, however were brought to the table in an ice bucket.
Wow this restaurant is massive! We had an awesome meal, greeted by a friendly and welcoming woman as we entered, and had a really great server as well.nnThe rib platter portion was massive, very happy to have leftovers. It was so delicious.nnWe had the flaming cheese for the appie and the vanilla custard thing for dessert and both were fantastic. I look forward to returning again
