The Port House Social Bar & Kitchen takes great pride in providing our guests with genuine and thoughtful hospitality. We bring this hospitality to life through a globally inspired menu, beautiful surroundings and a passion for service. Our business is to bring all of that together in one place. We are inspired by everything around us, from cuisine found from around the world to local farms in our own backyard. Our desire is to bring the best of everything to our guests, house-made sauces, locally-sourced ingredients, and highly skilled Chefs. Booked reservations for my birthday a couple of weeks ahead for a Saturday in the dining room, closer to the date I was called and informed that the couches upstairs had become available and I agreed to reserving those. However I was extremely disappointed when I realized that both tables behind us were being served whereas our section was told to "go to the bar to order drinks since it gets too complicated to keep track" hence we did not have ANY service at all. Mind you the tables behind us had just as large parties if not larger. What was even more ridiculous was that in order to order food....we also had to approach the bar. Furthermore, I was never informed in advance that the upstairs closes...on a Saturday...at like 11pm. That's right, my party of 17 was told to leave upstairs and go downstairs around this time, leaving us with no where to sit or go in a crowded bar. I am still so confused and disappointed with the lack of communication and service Port House.

This most recent addition to the Port Credit scene has very great table service and is a good place to grab a drink. The dance floor is small and centres the dancers out from the rest of the people which feels lonely and awkward. The food is yummy, but I suggest reserving ahead of time for a table to assure you can get one.

I have been there when it was still called ten. It's been a while. The place was packed and had a dance floor that I couldn't keep myself off of. I go near this place for walks and it is always busy. In the summer their little tucked away patio is great and a pleasant place to be!

My boyfriend took me for my birthday!!! It was a nice environment. Dark lit room and very crowded but not too stuffy. Its a beautiful setting however and very romantic. The customer service could have been better but the food was so delicious. I would definitely go again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Port House. The gin and tonic and Moscow Mule I ordered were wonderfully refreshing and delicious. The nachos were cheesy and loaded with veggies, but not soggy or brittle. I loved the Vegitalian pizza. It featured just the right amount of cheese and toppings, and was not drenched in olive oil (thankfully). Our server was vivacious and always helpful. I will definitely be returning to The Port House in the future.
