The Porch

The Porch is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I have not eaten their for dinner so cannot comment on dinner. Their wraps and burgers are made for a contemporary palette. Ingredients are fresh and eye appeal in presentation is well done. They are the only restaurant in town that knows how to make a cup of coffee that is good. Coffee at other restaurants are just brown hot water. Matt the bartender is a jovial extrovert who makes everyone feel comfortable. The service can sometimes be a bit slow, but if you plan on a leisurely time you will be fine.

Food is great!! Service is SLOW.... leaves a lot to be desired. I've been here many times and love the food. However, don't expect to get your food from the kitchen any less than 30 minutes after you've placed your order. I like this place but, can only go here when I have over an hour of time to sit. Improved service and speed will lead to higher reviews.

Excellent beer selection! Stopped by expecting something different and was NOT disappointed! Highly recommend the porch nachos with steak. 💯 Delicious!! Service was friendly and responsive too, despite seeing the previous review they were excellent. In all honesty we just happened upon this restaurant and was really pleasantly surprised. It wasn't one of our things to do and it wasn't in one of our main stops we hadn't actually planned on going but when we did go here we would definitely go back if we were in the area.

I've worked in a restaurant as a server since I was 15. I walked in here and there were a total of 7 tables and they said 40 minutes wait because there were only two servers. I understand but I could handle 7 tables at a time and you think they'd want to make more money. Just kinda lazy if you ask me. Simple steps of service.

We only ordered two beers and a dessert. Service was INCREDIBLY slow. It took over 10 minutes to get water, over 25 minutes for the beer, and close to 45 minutes for the dessert that was ordered at the same time as the beers. Really disappointed as we had been here once before and had been happy with the service. Only 40% of the tables were full. It was not that they were really busy.
