The Porch

I happened to see this place while waiting at a traffic light, so I stopped in to check it out. This restaurant has a nice open interior with a high ceiling giving it a great ambiance. I ordered the fish and chips and was very satisfied. It wasn't greasy and the portion was ample. I've always stopped in Ellensburg anytime I'm driving to Moses Lake or Spokane, but only had fast food. This will be my new stop over from now on.

The Chicken Parmesan was not what we were expecting from the picture you can tell them might have forgotten the marinara but it was still good to eat. Chicken Marsala was delicious I got the veggie side and the fried rice and didn't leave anything but a gravy streak on my plate. Our coworker destroyed the 12th Man burger in meer minutes and all the fries. The Ceviche was really good too and used bay shrimp was fresh and we ate it before I got a picture of it.

Kids fries were covered in pepper and the salad had tons of peppercini in them. The men's restroom toilet handle was broken and was being held together with masking tape. Thefood cost does not match the quality of food that is created by the chef. This will definitely be our first and last time here.

Super good food and super good service. We had the calamari appetizer. It was so good and cooked perfectly. I ordered The Porch Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. The staff was awesome. Drinks were delicious. I liked the atmosphere too. When I come back through Ellensburg I will definitely be dining here again.

Pretty good food. The steaks are decent, pasta is better than decent. The atmosphere is pretty cool, nice open plan, great bar. If the service were better so would be the review. Their staff is OK, not the best, not the worst, they are always under staffed. I've been to the porch 10 or 12 times. Always leave thinking man... so close.
