We offer a selection of fresh beer from Cranky Sam Brewing, numerous guest taps and many bottles and cans ranging from light american lagers to trappist ales from Belgium. You will find an extensive sour beer menu both on draft and in bottles. In addition to beer we have numerous ciders, seltzers and more.Wine drinkers will find a bottle list of over 60 reds, whites and sparkling in all price ranges and another eight wines on draft.Hungry customers can order from our nationally-recognized neighbor, Biga Pizza or have barbeque brought over from Notorius PIG. Fun taproom, I enjoyed a couple beers, they have mostly their own beers on tap. They have a nice patio out back and easy to grab a slice or two from bigga pizza. There was a DJ out back for awhile. Interesting place.
What a lovely brewery right in downtown Missoula! Definitely enjoyed the wide selection of beers made on sight as well as the lovely patio out back. Surely will return again!
After a long day a lot the local swim meet it was time for a nice cold beer. Decided to give Cranky Sam Public House a try. Ordered the Tropical Blonde summer ale has a little hoppy finish, but for someone that doesn't care for hoppy, this was just fine. Next up was the Hot Spring Hefeweizen.to me,.slight note of cloves. Different, but pleasant. Lastly, the El Vaquero, their Mexican beer. I can say I have not had many craft Mexican beers, since not too many breweries can masters that craft,, but this ranks toward the top three. Super smooth with or without lime. Almost wish is it was about 5 degrees colder and , to me, would be absolutely perfect. Best beer of the three tried this evening. If I am back in Missoula, I will definitely be back and as I have said in other posts, Support Local!
What Great ambience!! Delicious food and fantastic beers! The Lemon Drop was my fave! Perfect live music on the patio!!
Good place to grab a bite we had the nachoes and they were very good. I had a bottled bear as they didnt have anythin dark and heavy on tap. I usually like a 9 plus ABV. Service was good.
It’s a nice place. In my opinion the beer is much too expensive. Outdoor patio was good.
We recently held a rehearsal dinner/party at Cranky Sam's. Jennifer, the owner, was fabulous to work with from the planning phase to the execution phase. She was extremely responsive and helped us think through a number of issues. The mix of wine, beer and NA products were excellent she even made us our own private drink menu!. The Stone Room worked well and having additional space to spread out after the dinner worked extremely well. Guests loved the overall ambiance as well as the drink selections. The wait staff were very personable and responsive to our needs. We used Biga Pizza for food and the fact that the two businesses were so close in proximity and the two owners knew each other helped immensely. We are huge fans of Jen and Cranky Sam's as well as Bob and Biga Pizza.
Bought dinner from next door pizza place and ate out on cranky Sam's patio. The hidden girl IPA was delicious. Our server has as great even though they were understaffed.
Great atmosphere! Service was good, they were very flexible with moving tables. Great options for drinks. Owners stopped by the table and were very friendly as well. Highly recommend a visit!
good place. settled and calm environment. clean, spacious. good selection of beers. no problem with take out food. very friendly staff. thank you guys!
