Silver City Restaurant & Ale House

This is my favorite local restaurant with a few dishes I love. Atmosphere is spot on. Can be great for families upstairs or near restrooms as well as inviting for singles or friends meeting to sit at the cozy bar tables or even booths for dining in that area. Wait staff is hit and miss. Some can be very flighty. One young woman flirted with my boyfriend. And the food is definitely a bit less than consistent depending on who is cooking. That being said, I've never had an awful meal here.

We recently stopped in on a mini road trip. It was clean and modern. Our server was really friendly and the food wasn't bad. Lots of beers on tap (not just Silver City). We went on a Sunday during lunch and it was packed, with lots of kids. If you want something with more of a taproom vibe, you'll be disappointed as it has the atmosphere of a family friendly chain restaurant.

Consistent is the word for Silver City. They are an excellent brewery. Their food is always good. We come to Silverdale to shop fairly frequently and sometimes we talk about trying somewhere different, then say "No, why risk it?"

Simply the best in three counties. Outstanding crew, great food and beer is of world class status. Good for all groups big or small. The fresh sheet gives a good variety to a solid menu. Be ready for a crowd, it's nearly busy from open to close.

Honestly over hyped. There are a lot of breweries around here that are far better. Plus their food has been hit and miss. Sometimes it's good. Other times it just tastes bad. For example, once my wife got something that was so oversalted neither her nor I could eat it. It's stuff like that which gives this a 3 star.
