Welcome to Jo:a Japanese Restaurant

Two chefs with more than 35 years of experience in the kitchen, working in different restaurants across the country from New York to California now call Silverdale their home.

Opening their first restaurant in Silverdale, they bring with them their passion for cooking and food, They view Jo:a as their home and their guest as friends and family. Providing sushi lovers in Kitsap County with an exceptional selection of raw fish, traditional dishes, and exquisitely crafted perfection in an upscale stylish atmosphere. By combining traditional Japanese techniques and recipes with their experience they gain working across the country, they offer you a dining experience that harmonizes the best of both worlds.

The food and service here is amazing! The first time we stumbled across this gem we had Priscilla as our server and she was awesome. The owner Peter is very passionate about his restaurant and it shows. Make sure you try the fried Oreos and I’ve cream. It sounds weird but is incredible. Highly recommended restaurant!

Great Japanese restaurant! The vibe was really comfortable and relaxing, the day we went though was really cold inside. The food was oishi! My kids loved their sushi and meals. My only complaint is that they got one appetizer wrong, but I wasn't sweating it because I ain't picky. This place is definitely on the pricier side, our tab for a family of four after tip was well over 140+(no liquor).

Amazing food, the sushi was incredible! The whole experience was great, fairly priced and decent service. Good have been a bit cleaner. Everything felt a bit...sticky. Like they had used the same washcloth to clean every table without rinsing it. But the rest of the meal was fine! Always like goong here for a sushi fix!

Great place for sushi! Love the lunch specials but we regularly come here for the happy hour at night. Staff is always friendly

As always very good. I brought my dad tonight and he was very impressed. He commented about the hospitality and pointed out that the waitress even prepared our left overs carefully in the takeout box. That even our leftovers looked better than most restaurants meals.
