After dining there when it first opened it has improved considerably. Good drink specials and a neat piano grunge night. Worth checking out, unique to Regina.
The Nest Piano Bar is very unique place. The decor is all black and white. The waitresses wear ties or belts that look like the piano keys. The service is excellent and the food is very succulent and delicious. They have someone playing the piano starting at 5:00 pm. And than at 9:00 pm they have dueling pianos. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The prices are very reasonable. Great food Great service and a great atmosphere.
Walk in wow, panoramic fireplace and a welcome sign. Piano carpet nice touch To say the least had a great Valentine's 2018. Tables covered with rose petals. Booths available.. Great music from the piano player. Ability to choose songs from a book was excellent. Drinks presentation exquisite. Food was delish and also laid out very well. Lamps are a ball of "diamonds".. very dazzling and sparkly gives a nice sparkle to the eye Romantic atmosphere. If i might add very clean and well taken care of restroom. Gives me comfort about the hygiene of the kitchen. 2018 February See pics
Great live music, delicious cocktails, and nice servers. The appetizers were also respectable. That being said, the entrees left a lot to be desired. I had the lobster ravioli and the "lobster" was tough and hard. The pizza was mediocre and the meat loaf was also "meh". No one at my table was happy with their meal. I wanted to give 4 stars, but the bad aftertaste in my mouth won't let me.
We had a wonderful time at The Nest Halloween party on Saturday October 28th. Good food, wonderful company and fabulous entertainment. A memorable evening. I would like to give a big shout out to the staff and other guests who put up with our antics!
This is a good place to go if you appreciate live jazz music. I don’t think there’s anywhere else in Saskatchewan quite like it. I’ve eaten here twice, once early in the evening and there was no music. The food was okay both times.
This is a fun place to visit for a more unique experience in Regina. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. The piano music was understandably a little loud for conversation. But we all had a great time.
An amazing restaurant. I was surprise to see that kids are not allowed there. But make sense. Due to its ambiance and live performance not an entertaining place for kids. Excellent food and the live music performance is a cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend for date night.
Went to The Nest last night for new years eve. We didn't have a reservation but they seated us at a table telling us it was the only table not reseeved. We ordered drinks and after the drinks were brought to us we were then told that a $10 entertainment charge would be added to our bill. We were not told about this additional charge prior to being seated or when we ordered our drinks. We then placed an order for appetizers. As they were brought to our table we were told by another employee that we needed a reservation for that night and we were sitting at someone elses table....as though we had come in and seated ourselves?? We were basically asked to leave even though they were the ones that had given us a table and we had just ordered drinks and food. We obliged because quite honestly we were made to feel very unwelcome. Not only did they still charge us for our drinks and appetizers, which we couldn't even enjoy....we were also charged a ridiculous entertainment fee even though we were only there for a total of 18 minutes....in between entertainers. I will not be going back and will be passing my recommendations onto everyone I know. Thanks for ruining our evening out.
had a lot of fun. Definitely a unique place for Regina. I hope it remains popular. The place was full last night. ...if anyone knows the best way to eat the escargot please share! lol. Disappointed it closed down
