About

The museum has a fantastic collection with a wide variety. They had a fantastic collection of romantic and impressionist paintings and some stunning pieces from Joan Miro, Picasso, Monet, Dali, Basquiat, etc. They had a very interesting area dedicated to Napoleon art, Netherlands Baroque art, and Japanese woodblock print art. I would a absolutely visit again.nnThey had a collaborative interactive sketch area to take turns adding to a sketch of portraits and I thought that was a super cool idea to have various people take part in a collective art piece.nnThe gift shops is great, I wish they had some more post card options of some of the 1800s realism/ romantic artwork because I would have absolutely purchased it.nnThe stargazing area was a bit underwhelming, but every other area was impressive.
Such a wonderful place, filled with arts from around the world. This may be the most extensive collection I’ve ever ever seen. I loved the Art of One World display, with artifacts from multiple cultures.nnThe museum is huge, with 4 different building, encompassing massive collections of art pieces throughout centuries, from ancient time to modern time. The facility is clean, restrooms and water station is available. The museum has so many programs for the public. There is usually a fee but they’re free for the public on the first sunday of the month, which was amazing.
My favorite place in downtown, the museum is beautiful and it is also huge, if you go late you won't be able to visit it all, there are free activities from Monday to Sunday such as film festivals, art workshops for all ages and you can draw, paint, sculpt, stamp, or whatever you like to do to express yourself. There are tutors who explain how to use each technique.
Nice staff members.nA bit hard to navigate. A simple explanation that you need to take the elevator to S2 to get to other exhibits/buildings would take 10 seconds and spare a lot of fumbling. Unclear organization of the space. Why not a clear itinerary?nBit eclectic.nAmazing pieces.
A truly massive museum, covering several city blocks and several pavilions. There is also an art education center, a cinema, a gift shop/bookstore, a bistro, and temporary exhibits!
