We came for a date night and the experience was absolutely amazing. We tried samplers of every beer which ended up being about 9 different beers and they were all delicious other then a few due to personal preference The guys serving the beer were very knowledgeable on the tasting notes of every beer and were very willing to talk about the processes which made it a fun enjoyable experience. They made you feel like friends just having a beer together. We had a sandwich which was was really small so if you're hungry eat before you go. Overall we will come back for a tour and to try new beers when they're released.
I’m either a little buzzed or just had a life changing experience, maybe both? I sampled 3 of their beers and had a larger size of one of them this evening. Might be the best beer I’ve ever had. It was like a beer/dessert feast in one. Belgian style for the win! You have to try this place out, the staff know their stuff & it’s a nice space.
The building, the beers, the processes and the passion are superior to anything else I've seen in beer. It's as bold a step forward for this beverage as I have ever seen, or imagined. The beers will improve with time, and they're already good! I'm impressed!
Wonderful staff, fantastic service and good food and drink. There are mainly 'sour' options which are not to my taste but if you enjoy sour beer they have a fantastic range. Without asking they gave us some tasters so we could choose what we liked, they were friendly and the food was great also. Would highly recommend ... just wish they had more than one none sour beer option!
First brewery visit in Alberta and what a great place. Staff super friendly happy to answer all questions about products and processes. Quality of beer we sampled was great.
Amazing brewery and taproom, specializing in wild and mixed-fermentation beers, with most beers being fermented in barrels anywhere from 1-4 yrs and possibly longer in future...their beers are complex, nuanced and incredibly balanced, with light acidity - more akin to a beer-meets-wine than a "sour beer". Their food menu is small but really well curated, with dishes that are both delicious and pair well with their beers.
If you enjoy sour beers, this is the place for you! Great selection and knowledgeable staff that are very warm and friendly. The sourdough bread is delicious! Will definitely be back.
Austin was awesome and showed us the brewery & cellars. Really unique beers that follow a wine processing methodology with a scientific application. Great for anyone who likes beer, appreciates wine, and is open to something unique.
Love this place, food is killer and the beer is very unique Belgian style beers, staff will sit down with you and explain the way they make beer with a passion for what they do, food is from Biera and very well suited for the beer they serve.
Had a great visit to The Monolith. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The tap room has stunning decor. We had a great time tasting their unique fermented beers and chatting with the staff about it. Great food. Highly recommend you check it out!
