The Lowry

Outstanding food - recommend the breakfast section of the menu. Great drink selection, consistently fine house cocktails. Service can be pretty slow. Chill dark ambiance.

The food was not really anything out of the ordinary. It was very busy at noon but we were seated quickly. Drinks were served in a timely manner but food took a while to receive. The room was VERY loud and tables and chairs are packed in so seating is not very comfortable unless you happen to get a booth. The bar is an option for seating as well and not nearly as crammed. Extensive beer and cocktail selection.

Very chic urban dining. I appreciate that they run Sunday brunch until 4:00PM. The food was good however my order came out wrong. The manager was quick to proactively fix the error but I'd eaten the rest of my brunch by the time the eggs were corrected and they were very runny. Had I not already had an error and were they originally served that way I'd have sent them back. Servers need to check the ticket against the order for accuracy. It's a simple mistake, too simple to ignore. Atmosphere is nice, our service was prompt and courteous.

It was very cold outside but it was warm when I came in. They were welcoming, had very nice staff, and the food was definitely cooked with heart. The bathrooms were very different, the sinks were cool as the water came sliding out like a waterfall. It even had a box of tissues. I guess they know no one likes blowing their nose on wrinkly paper towels. Also the food came out pretty fast which was nice, also they didn't take forever to deliver and receive the bill. Very nice place, I would recommend it.

I visited Lowry last year when I was in Minnesota. I am from Chicago which is an amazing place to get food. Lowry has definitely wow me with the food and service. My friend & i arrived after breakfast was over; however, I kindly explained I was from out of town and asked if he could make me some chicken & waffles. They kindly obliged and I must say the chicken and waffles were SUPERB, The server also got me to try the Brussels sprouts which I dreaded as a kid. But this place put a spin on the Brussels sprouts and I was blown away....They were amazing. When I come back to Minnesota this is a must stop place to eat.
