Franchisees Sanjeev and Loveleen Azad’s Dunn Brothers at 2528 Hennepin Ave S brings the Dunn Brothers philosophy of “fresh & local” to a whole new level—this location provides the Uptown area with 8 Craft Beers on Tap, Boutique and Recognizable Bottled and Tap Wines, Signature Cocktails as well as Small and Pairing Plates to complement Dunn Brothers repertoire of signature beverages, coffees, teas, and the full fresh-baked & fresh made menu.

Dunn Brothers corporate Chef Andy Revella created a menu specific to this location and the demand of the Lowry Hill neighborhood. He focused on bringing the Dunn Brothers commitment to fresh coffee into an extended food menu, designed to perfectly pair with locally crafted beers, a diverse wine selection, as well as the specialty cocktails unique to this establishment. These new and exciting options will create an inviting atmosphere throughout the whole day and will have you thinking of Dunn Brothers for more than your daily coffee.

THE FOOD: This menu serves well to the Dunn Brothers commitment of freshly baked breakfast pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and salads, by incorporating all new offerings of late afternoon happy hour favorites. These new items include a variety of flatbreads, charcuterie, olive and hummus samplers, and much more. The Azad’s intention was to utilize a complete menu that’s designed to go perfectly with Dunn Brothers consistently excellent coffee, as well as craft beer, wine, and signature cocktails.

THE DRINKS: The Azad’s brought in Milwaukee transplant Cocktailian Jason Westplate to oversee their seasonally-rotating beer and wine selection as well as to design signature Beer & Wine Cocktails that fit the identity of Dunn Brothers and the Neighborhood Community. Jason has incorporated the Dunn Bros’ core values of freshness, local-mindedness, and superior coffee into his unique cocktails. And with the extended Happy Hour from 2-7pm you can look to this coffee shop as your first stop before your night out or your last stop for a craft beer, wine or well executed drink.

THE ATMOSPHERE: This newly renovated space is a blend of indoor and outdoor dining areas including a sidewalk patio and a retractable glass front, designed to cater to the customer’s need for a welcoming, relaxing, and inviting space in the mornings as well as the evenings. The Azad’s wanted to create a café with a European approach—where the engaging attitude of a coffee shop is blended with an evening atmosphere. This café will cater to one’s need for a freshly baked breakfast pastry or sandwich, late morning espresso and lunch as well as an evening glass of wine or beer accompanied by complimentary food.
