The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Moncton

We had an unforgettable night celebrating our second wedding anniversary at the Keg Steakhouse! It's the perfect spot for marking special occasions, and to top it all off, they surprised us with a delightful cake that added an extra touch of sweetness to our celebration. What a memorable evening!

We recently dined at The Keg in Moncton and had a great experience overall. We ordered the Filet Mignon and Top Sirloin, which were flavorful but a bit on the dry side—likely because we requested them to be cooked medium-well. Next time, we might try a different doneness level to enjoy a juicier steak.nnThe appetizers, however, stole the show! The Mushroom Neptune was absolutely delicious—we loved the creamy, rich flavor of the cream cheese filling. The Crispy Cauliflower was also a standout dish. Its unique taste surprised us; it almost looked like chicken at first glance but had a delightful crunch and flavor.nnThe service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff, and the interior of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening.nnOverall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we look forward to visiting again!

My Fiancé and I came for dinner here on New Years Eve. This a favourite for us whever we are in the mood for perfect steak! We were able to book a reservation last minute. We had perfectly cooked food, so delicious! We had a beautiful bottle of champagne as well! Our server was excellent, we were celebrating our engagement and she gave us a dessert on the house which we loved, it was an ice cream cake of some sort. We love this place!

This is our second trip in 2 months. Mainly due to gift cards. The first was disappointing due to them running out of the advertised Brie and giving us a poor substitution. It was taken off the bill after we notified them of their miscommunication.nSECOND try.nMy usual is Sirloin Oscar. The picture shows the tiny bit of asparagus. To me, there is no excuse. There are 2 grocery stores within 5 minutes. Go out and buy what's needed. Go above and beyond. Unfortunately, this effort would go unnoticed by the public, only the internal management would know.nPoor management affects the hard workers and, therefore, the business.nHere is another tip. The hostess needs to assess the couple quickly. We are an older couple.nDetermine how their evening would be enhanced. Yes, they followed the script/training and went by what the computer.nUse the computer as a tool.nWould it be best to put them near the fireplace or the outside wall colder. They chose colder. There was room. I think they just follow what pops up on the screen. No thinking.nThis review is due to the expectations on value. They have one of the highest priced steak.

My husband and I go to the Keg in moncton every year for our anniversary. Never a bad experience. The service is always good. Last time was exceptionally good. And FAST. But even when it's not so fast the food is worth waiting for. The inside is also very nice. It gives a dark and romantic feel. Perfect for dates or special events for couples.
