Story

In August of 1998 a couple of local Burlington guys thought that a good British Pub would be welcomed in the north end of Burlington. Ten years later the Judge & Jury buzzes with life. Welcoming our friends and customers with great food, fresh draught and terrific wines.

We welcome you to drop by.... for some pleasant conversation, some great food or just to sit by the fire with a good pint. Here at the Judge you my come in as a stranger, but you'll leave a friend!

Great first time experience here. We sat quickly, the server took our order with ease. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was STACKED and delicious. 
Not a huge place but you get the authentic pub atmosphere here. 
The prices are very fair for the quality of the food.

Great service with good food! Came here on a whim and ordered the nachos and a fish dinner. Huge portion with the fish with a flaky crust. The nachos were 'okay'. Nothing special except for the portion size. Ordered the half portion and it was huge. Standard pub fare nachos.

The service was tremendous! Perfect service check and friendly despite the dinner rush. Great work.

The place was packed when we walked in at 730pm on a Tuesday! Our server told us that it had been dead earlier and management had sent almost all the staff home. Our server was absolutely lovely, and working hard to look after a whole side of the restaurant by herself. The food was mediocre. My fiance had fish and chips that was large but tasteless. I ordered the Bombay curry with chicken, and was disappointed that the dish was just plain chopped chicken breast thrown on top of rice with some curry sauce over it.. it comes with a huge somosa that I couldn't wait to try - very disappointed that it was filled with nothing but onion! Never seen a somosa with only onion... not my cup of tea. 
Not sure if the fish and chips quality is normal for the restaurant or if it was due to how busy it was/lack of staff. Regardless, we won't hurry back.

Not sure what happened to my previous review from years ago, but oh well. 
This place is one of our go to pubs in Burlington. Great selection of beer in which I normally consume Guinness lol. The food is very tasty, decent proportion and the staff here are very friendly. It's nice to see the same people over the years.

Good food and resonable prices. They offer breakfast on the weekends, but open at 11:00 am as they are a bar afterall. Friendly staff. Sunday is the "fish and chips" special. The place is packed and everyone just sits and waits, no one orders anything else (except beer), and then out come endless plates of the special. It's something to see!
