I had a cover up tattoo done by Matt yesterday. He did an INCREDIBLE job and it is already healing beautifully. I looked at soo many portfolios in the Ottawa area prior to booking here, and decided on Matt. He is so talented and I hope to have more art done by him in the future.
At 58 I decided to get my first tattoo and after researching on-line and asking others I sent a message to book a consultation at the Ink Spot. I requested Rodrigo as there were designs in his gallery that had some similarities to what I was looking for. A consultation was booked quickly and I met with Rodrigo and we discussed the design and personal touches I was hoping for and he left me feeling extremely confident and comfortable to proceed. I attended the Ink Spot last week and Rodrigo showed me two designs he came up with based on our consultation and both were great. After selecting one he took his time to ensure I was comfortable with the size and exact location. Throughout the tattooing he continued to show me pictures of his work and asked input with respect to colouring and just my overall comfort. It was clear that Rodrigo was very professional and took a great deal of pride in his work. Once completed he explained the after care very thoroughly and to make sure to call if I had any concerns. Being a rookie I did call and the person I talked to was very informative. I removed the covering on Monday and couldn't be any happier with the final result. Went for my first tattoo at the age of 52. Rodrigo was my artist and was amazing. He worked with what I had showed him and made great suggestions. Was specific on follow care. Had to call to ask a question and staff was informative.Service: Custom tattoo lettering
Greetings, I wanted to share my awesome experience at Ink Spot here in Ottawa. From the moment I walked in, I saw a clean, safe environment, for a first-timer like myself that was a huge plus. I got greeted by this super nice lady behind the counter who called up my to be tattoo artist Rodrigo. He sat with me, went over my photos, talked about the tattoo and possible changes like placement glad I took that advice : . Finally its the big day and he wrapped everything, his area was spotless, and I he helped me relax. I never once felt rushed, pressured, talked down too or anything. When he started he was so gentle I wasn't sure he had begun, lol. 4.5 hours and a nap since I fell asleep while he tattooing, I ended up with a beautiful tattoo commemorating my brother, and am looking forward to Rodrigo doing my next one of course at Ink Spot. Amazing experience with Kaiti for my conch piercing! Quick, nearly plain less, she is so sweet and thorough. Definitely see Kaiti for any of your piercing needs. I have also had tattoos done at the ink spot, always a great experience!!
I’ve seen Kaiti twice so far for piercings and jewelry changes and have been amazed by the service she provides. The whole shop creates a very comfortable and safe space, if you are looking to get a piercing in Ottawa Kaiti is the person to see!
I swear Kaiti is the best piercer in the city, and Shawn has done 3 tattoos for me now! Always hyper-professional, give great advice, and always happy and willing to work with you on design and placement. Awesome people and a great shop : 100% recommend
Setting up my appointment was easy and quick. My piercer was wonderful, the piercing went well and they explained every thing I needed to know! I absolutely love my piercing and will definitely be coming back to The Ink Spot for another piercing.
5 stars isn't enough in my opinion! From the initial contact via email, to the discussion, to the actual appointment and process, it was all so very professional, genuine, as well as honest and informative. The piercer Kaiti made both me and my sister feel comfortable in all ways, and the piercing process was fast, painless, efficient and perfect! We couldn't he happier with not only the work done, but the service overall from all artists in the shop. Friendly, professional, and a bery welcoming enviornment. Clean, safe, and loving that they follow covid safety protocols still to ensure safety. We will be back, and recommending! Thank you all!
