Liquid Impact Tattoo

Three stars because the shop is clean and does house some talented artists. Please remember that if you do not feel respect and enthusiasm from your tattoo artist, it is okay to walk away from the appointment. I sure I wish I did. My disappointing experience was punctuated by the owner misspelling my name and being extremely dismissive when I asked for a partial refund due to this being far from the quality I expected from the artist. But I guess once they have your money, they don’t care anymore. Which is a shame because I was planning on getting a few more tattoos from this artist.

This is by far my favourite local business to support. Not only does the owner hire wonderfully skilled artist, but they give back to the community. From hoodies for the homeless, DIFD, Cam and his team are always giving back to the community. I have 3 tattoos from artists at Liquid Impact now, my husband has started his own tattoo work with them, and as my children are coming of age for their own piercings we didn't even think twice of where to go

I've had numerous tattoos done here by Everett. His work is amazing and he is very nice! I always get complemented on my tattoos done by him. Not overpriced either. Shop is very clean and a decent environment.Service: Tattoos

I originally contacted Liquid Ink Tattoos LIT through Facebook messaging. I sent a photo of what I wanted tattooed a lake scene w/trees. This was to be my second tattoo. After some back and forth regarding size it was suggested I come in for a consult which I quite happily did. The artist I met with assured me.they could do the tattoo no problem, gave me guidance on the size, and quoted me $300. I was thrilled to book the appointment.and left a $50 deposit. When I arrived for my appointment, the artist didn't remember what I'd asked for or where I wanted the tattoo to be.They hadn't bothered to note down my last name during the consult, so were unable to contact me. I showed them the picture again and they was able to produce a stencil in about 30 minutes. I was happy with the stencil and we began. An hour into the process the artist told me how much they hated landscapes leaving me to wonder why on earth LIT matched us given that whomever manages their social media knew it was a landscape. The artist then went on to tell me that they'd been skeptical as to how the photo would look as a tattoo. Not what you want to hear an hour into the process. I would have liked to have been told that at the consult! I was then charged $75 more than I was quoted. In addition I unfortunately had to listen to other staff members ridicule piercing clients. I can only imagine how I was spoken about once the door closed behind me. While I do like the finished piece I would not recommend Liquid Ink Tattoos.Service: Tattoos

I found this business through Facebook and my friend and I booked and paid our deposits online as well. Kelsi was welcoming and kind, and made sure to tell me every step as she went. I LOVE the jewelry she orders in for her clients and feel as if it's great quality and super appealing. I noticed she changed her gloves at least three times during the whole process which I appreciate, and she sterilized the jewelry prior to using it on me. I think of Kelsi as a very competent piercer, with a great knowledge of anatomy and just a keen eye all around. I have no hesitation in her suggesting a different placement or adjusting the gauge of a piercing based on her experience. The piercing in my nostril was uncomplicated and swift, and the healing has been a breeze which I attribute to the high quality of the metal in the piercing, I've never had such a pain free healing process before. Been a customer with kelsi.pierces for close to a year starting before the big move to the new and bigger store. The new location on Catherine is shaping up real nice and the residing artists/owners have been very welcoming and kind. Queer inclusive space thank you!

I have had 2 tattoos done at Liquid Impact and each time was a great experience. Cam and the staff are amazing and the tattoo artists are incredibly talented. The team are friendly and accommodating and the shop is incredibly clean. I had my most recent tattoo done by Zuzana their junior artist and I am beyond thrilled. Will definitely be going back for another one… hopefully soon.Service: Tattoos
