Not to sure why people this place is closed always or that it’s permanent closed when that isn’t the case. In fact when I was there tonight early at the date of this comment for my review that it was open. I even recall one of the people working here saying their opened on Fridays/weekends, if that changed I’m not sure. However I’ve personally never had issues with this place & I been going here since I was in high school. It’s basically they place to go if you want a metal band t-shirt.

Great place. Great selection of pipes, paraphernalia, posters and t-shirts. Best rock shop in Ottawa which by nature is the most boring city on the planet.

DO NOT GO HERE, PLEASE. A few months ago, owner and I were alone in the back-ish area of the store. He came over to me, immediately pressed himself close to me and put his hand on my back, face centimeters from mine, and repeatedly asked my age. I kept avoiding the question but eventually said I was 15. He stayed this way EVEN AFTER I said my age. This man is like 60. He knew what he was doing. Then someone else came into the store and he left me alone. There are several more stories like mine, many even worse. Avoid this place.

Sold me a sweater that had holes in it and was dry rot so it's completely unwearable. Messaged with him through Facebook about stuff and his response to calling him out on it was "I don't care cause im already rich, I am the vintage king". Hahahaha. Not exactly how you want want run a business and I'd suggest not giving them your business if this is how they talk to their customers. They also follow you around in the store like you're trying to steal something and are very dry and rude when you try to talk to them. Most shirts in the store are also fake and knock offs of actual licensed shirts and look like they were printing in the back room

I have been going there since the 80s. Great selection, somewhat overpriced but then again, if you buy online, you pay more because of shipping cost. Another down side is you don’t see the product first hand. People complaining about the "smell", "sketchy people" are ridiculous. Considering the products this store sells, I would expect nothing more. As far as product quality, I have never seen a bad shirt or anything other bad product for that matter. Customer service has always been good in my experience, even if the random occasion where you see an employee in a “bad” mood. Such is life, we all have bad days and encounters such as this can be said for any mall boutique on any given day. Get thicker skin. Love that place. The smell, the people, employees, the location is what makes this place awesome. It’s a Metal/punk/stoner shop…if you can’t handle the smell, sketchy people and the rest then then you’re in the wrong scene. Go shop and Hot Topic where all the phonies go.

Great place to go for any metalhead. Selection is outstanding and the prices aren't too expensive, compared to other places that sell the same type of stuff. Went here to do some birthday shopping for myself and left extremely satisfied.

Owner is very rude. I also didn’t like how he called me and my friend sweetie and sweetheart in a condescending way when we asked about prices and if there was any negotiations.. No thanks.

It's always closed. Don't listen to the hours that are posted anywhere, always closed.

I will not go to this place ever again. I just got a call from a friend who was looking for a shirt for another friend of ours at this place. He picked one out but quickly noticed that the lettering was peeling off! PEELING! Like a cheap pressing system made the shirt. He also noticed the same print, but in different colours. I've been to this place before, found nice shirts and had good service, other times had terrible and rude service like when I tried to refund a shirt I bought for the girl I was with at the time. The guy behind the counter was rude and wouldn't exchange it. Last time I was in I bought 2 shirts...my total? $50.00...ridiculously overpriced! I'll add that even though I bought the shirts, I wouldn't have if there was anything wrong with them. They were gems in my eyes, so I decided to get them anyways. But now, after today with my friend and other times, I'm never going back. I wouldn't be surprised if the shirts I've bought there in the past are fake as the smiles on the people's faces that work there. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR ANY REASON

One of the most helpful shops I've been to the son of the owner is a super cool guy who has helped me put together my glass piece bit by bit because I couldn't afford it all at once. Now I have one of the best pieces I've ever owned and he's known me for about 15 years and gave me an awesome deal as well. If you're in Ottawa and you love little knick-knacks check out this store it's awesome the people are great super friendly and trust me you're going to find something in there that you're going to like.
