The Hub - Mid Scarborough

I've only been here once to see an organization that operates an office here. I didn't come here for medical treatment or other services, but I was impressed that this place even exists in a convenient location. For anyone that has had a bad experience here... I think you're missing the point that you're fortunate to have it in the first place. Reading reviews it sounds like there is room for improvement, and more resources / funding... But don't just complain about it. I bet this place helps a lot of people.

I hope Scarborough residents avoid this place. Left two voicemails for an urgent matter and three days later no one has called back. The receptionist actually said that everyone is on vacation. What a useless organization when someone is looking for help. I advise people to look for a good family doctor. So disappointing.

Dr. Ravindra unprofessional, I understand doctors are busy, Didn't show up for my appointment. And then said I didn't. 5 months Follow up: was horrible, trying to schedule appointments, are the worse the secretary's are no help. Doctor doesn't follow up , even for severe pain

I came here for the Senior Dental coverage. It took 6 months but Kit and Dr Lee we’re very thorough in examining my teeth and gums They took lots of X-rays and even re-cemented my cap that had come off . Reported no cavities …Yahoo! All on my first visit. Wonderful experience with these two awesome women. Thank you for the service you provide for us seniors on limited incomes. I am very grateful for how you helped me today

I am patient here for couple years. There is always a problem. Problems with refills, doctor availability, getting what I need, or mistakes and clerical errors. They cancel my appointments last minute. Inconsistent treatment. If she misses appointments nothing happens. If I miss one or late they get mad at me double standard. She won't help me when I tell her u need different meds. Changed it once then back to old one. She is only there few days a week and she us the one in charge. I just called 7 days in a row, the incompetent receptionist needs to be fired because she promised and sweared it would be done Wednesday. Now it's Saturday they won't be open until monday. They always have an excuse for something bad fax wrong new number. I AM GETTING NEW DOCTOR. IM DONE WITH DR RAVEEN.I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT IM KEEP THIS SHORT.

Visited for an in person gathering for Tamil Seniors. Good meeting some COVID protocols followed. I thought they were not mandatory. But the participants all seniors out on their first outing still followed the protocols.

Received my booster vaccine here. Waited in line for 1h15m with an appointment. Thankfully I was able to line up inside, as it was -17 outside. All the staff were very pleasant, and kept everyone double masked and socially distanced. There are two full lines outside as well, one for those with appointments and one for those without.

We came her for our early dose of the 2nd Covid vaccine, and it was the most organized and helpful of all the clinics I've ever been to. There are Volunteers welcoming you and a very well knowledge staff of Drs and Nurses to help address any questions. Thank you Scarborough for setting up a great clinic! I came to this center for the Covid booster shot Moderna. I have lined up for only 25 mins to get the shot. All the staff and volunteers are so friendly and efficient. The line moves fast. Kudos to the management and all the staff. Thank you!

Great place, great community hub. Many people need to realize a community hub takes alot of moving pieces. They don't get alot of funding and it takes alot of dedicated people to make this wheel turn. Yes you may get some issues here and there but unlike the private sector it takes people with great character who loves to give back to the community to work in the community. This place provides alot of great opportunities for the betterment of the people and even if there are some issues. Just let them know by sharing your insights on what they need to change without being aggressive. Alot of volunteering goes into not for profit and people tend to forgot some things will not be super perfect so give them a break. This is coming from a person that works and volunteers in the community everyday.
