Just a crummy place. 

Been going to Lowe's for the last year and decided to go to home Depot cause I got a 25 dollar credit for reopened credit card. Wouldn't normally go there cause of their views on LGBTI folks but needed a new battery for one of their cordless drill. 

Started out with asking an associate for hello locating a part and she needed to use an app. That don't happen at Lowe's. Then she took us to the wrong thing saying that's what we were looking for. How does she know what I'm looking for? Anyhow, after a few other items were picked up we went to check out and our checker was great. 

Here's where everything went real bad quick. They reopened the card with my license address in California, even though I live in Washington state. I guess my fault. Long story short after 5 phone calls with 9 different people they finally changed the address with the most horrible of customer service throughout. Even the customer service at the home Depot was well below standard. The rep was talking to us about living in an Airbnb and talking a bus or some stuff. So unsolicited and it was so uncomfortable to talk to. 

I'll never return to any home Depot ever again. Cancelling their credit card.

Went to buy 2 sinks. Only one in stock. Went to customer service. They would not order me a second sink. I am done. It's easier to shop other stores online with better selection and free delivery to my front door.

This Home Depot is my first choice for parts, tools, or help with any fixits, or build-its. There is another major hardware chain in town with a blue logo 😉 that is best steered clear of. The employees at this Home Depot are helpful, kind, quick to respond and ready to share their knowledge. And- there are plenty of them on the sales floor! They missed that 5th star in my opinion because they rarely have enough cashiers on hand and try to make you use 'self-checkout'. I do not use self checkout because I believe it cuts employment positions our community needs.

Needed packing and moving supplies, they had terrific selection of bubble wrap, plastic wraps and moving blankets. Everything to take care of your fragile items when moving. Thanks...

I buy so many items there..they have paint samples and gallon and pints that people changed there mind, and they resell them at fifty cents and up..which is a bargin..because there paints are of high quality.
