The Home Depot

This is nothing towards the people working there but their system is Terrible.nI paid at a cash register, the woman said it was fine and asked if I wanted the receipt I said yes, then she said the receipt wasn't coming out and told me to go see the customer service center. I get there and am told I didn't pay because there isn't a bill proving I did and that I can no longer leave the store with the stuff I bought. I show them that my bank charged, I have notifications on my phone from Google and my bank saying I was charged the amount and it's confirmed it went through and that I own what I paid for. She says no I have to pay again, I asked what she'd do if was thousands of dollars for a contract bill, what am I supposed to do? Ask the client to front me even more money, she tells me hopefully I have enough in my account to pay again and not to worry because since there is no bill the system will treat it as an error and refund my first payment. So I pay again because even though I have no clue how they will process a refund to the first payment I HAVE NO BILL FOR Wich I explained to her, I also have to get to the clients house with what I came to get to get the job done.nnNext day I get a call asking for debit card numbers so they can search for the bill again and am told they'll call by end of day. Today I call since I haven't heard from them and they tell me no bill no refund, they don't even have proof I paid the first time even though my bank, google, and every other system said I paid. They say my bank has to process the refund yet my bank says they can't because home Depot has it in their account, they can't refund money they don't have, home Depot has to refund this they have the funds to refund since the transaction was completed and they have proof home Depot received the money.nnNow I'm short over a hundred dollars and the 3 times I call or show up I keep being told nobody can help but they'll leave a note for the person the next day then no news, next day I call and no note and nobody is aware. WANT MY MONEY, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY TWICE BECAUSE THIER SYSTEM HAS A GLITCH FINDING A PAYMENT! What kind of business tells a client who just paid he can't leave the store and makes him pay again even after the cash register said completed just because of a system glitch. I should have just walked out with my stuff and if they dared call the cops I would've showed the statement from my end and said they refused to give me a receipt Wich is basically what happened

Good appliances, good price. Complicated delivery, limited installation included with purchase but unclear prerequisites and friendly but limited customer service. They’re Ok. Room for improvement.

There is a man that doesn’t seem to want to work there and does not want to help clients. I believe he is an Arab man and he operates the forklift. I always believed Home Depot was better service than Reno Dépôt.

I do wish they would take better care of their indoor plants. A lot of them seem over watered and have yellow/brownish leaves.
