Clean, and you can usually find someone to help you. They have full service check out with is very nice.nnThe washroom are clean and do not smell funky.nnThere are always lots of good clearance items at this store.nnI give it four star because I went to buy a Milwaukee product and they did not have all the parts for it. It is not first time, I go to home Depot to look for a Milwaukee product and they do not have it. Overall, they have a good selection.
I bought a clamp which is about $35 after tax at Home Depot but it was too big so I decided to return. Unfortunately, I lost the receipt. And here is the interesting part, the customer service returned me $30 only and they said that the system would pick a lowest price of the item within 365 days to refund me because I lost my receipt. I accepted that it was my fault but Walmart, Food basics, they've never done that to me. I've never encountered this in any big box store, and here it happened at Home Depot. I feel like I got scammed and totally lost the trust at Home Depot. I would be careful with Home Depot in the future. If I encountered this issue at a small store then I understand that but not at a giant corp like Home Depot.
Lowe’s was closer and more convenient but since they changed to a Rona+, I have found their service to be sub-standard. Home Depot gets the nod for having inventory and real people at checkout. I stopped going to Rona when they made my life inconvenient.
We were buying paint. No one was in the paint section to help us. Eventually we found someone and she seemed really confused as to why no one was there. She was helpful, got us the paint we wanted, and was on her headset trying to find who was supposed to be in the section the whole time.
Mark in building supplies was both knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the various options for insulation and drywall in my basement reno. I explained my project and he took the time to explain the cost/benefit of the materials I was considering. I was very appreciative!
