In previous trips to Home Depot, it’s been nice service, and I didn’t mind going there. But this time was very different.nnWe bought a birthday present for my Dad with the customer services help. The lady at the computer had NO idea what was going on. She called someone else to help after 10 minutes of switching around pages. It took them another 10 minutes to figure out they were on the American Home Depot page, not the Canadian page.nnThe item we wanted that she said WAS in stock, wasn’t in Canada. So we went with the next best option, which she CONFIRMED was in stock. It took another 10+ minutes for them to figure out how to order it to the store for us to pickup. We paid, got a RECEIPT, a pickup time, and left. this was more than a couple weeks ago. It was about 30 minutes of waiting for the simplest order to be made.nnToday we finally phoned after waiting weeks, past the delivery date, and asked what’s wrong. They told us the item was NEVER in stock. This is EXTREMELY disappointing as this was an important birthday present. The birthday has long passed. So we paid a lot of money, with receipt proof, and they don’t even have it in stock. Thanks Home Depot. He really needs that heater for his office.nnI just wish the people behind the computers, at the customer service area, actually knew how to use them.nnEdit: Zero resolution, as expected.

Wow cost of lumber has skyrocketed. Staff friendly and helpful. A lot of product on the shelf.

Zero star. Duncan Homedepot sold me expired/frozen/defective concrete sealer! It was used on my brand new $20,000 pigmented driveway. The sealer never cured properly!! They admitted to it being expired and the supplier also confirmed this information. The supplier and managers at Homedepot all concluded that the product looked like it had been frozen at some point. Everybody confirmed the sealer was used correctly. Then they all stopped helping me and started denying the facts once insurance got involved. I have recently spent over $30,000 at this HomeDepot. I am very upset. The store manager needs to do better with customer care. With my current experience Homedepot needs a new paint department manager and new store leader. Very sad
