The Heritage Hotel

We visited this hotel for a wedding, this location is being bought (or already is bought but transitioning) by the Ramada chain. I made a reservation online but they couldn't find it? Anyway the lady at the desk was cool about it and just gave us a king bed room in the wedding block for the same price as the room I reserved which was for 2 doubles, so that was nice! Check in took a while though because she had to enter us in as a new reservation. The room: looked very clean and tidy. Didn't smell weird. There is an AC/heating unit in the window. Shampoo/body soap and towels were all there. The only weird thing was there were a few ladybugs or impostor ladybugs in there. Didn't really mind since they're totally harmless. Those will be gone once colder weather sets in. The bed was actually fairly nice! No issues. We got breakfast which was decent, fresh bread, juices, fruits and so on, were available. Checkout was quick and easy. We spent 2 nights there, and they have a pool that closes at 10pm so we didn't get to try it but it's indoors and it's a decent size!

I was extremely disappointed in our stay. We booked 3 rooms for our family get-together. The staff was unprofessional and did not treat us fairly. At the “cold breakfast” the staff working was swearing loudly on a personal phone call. The pool was very cold, and the small pool was closed off with tape and tipped over chairs. After returning home I found a bedbug and reported it to the hotel immediately. Management said the pest control inspection for the room I stayed in came back clean and did not offer any reimbursement or recompense for our stay. I don’t normally post reviews, but our experience was very negative and I did not feel the response from the hotel addressed our concerns.

The hotel is starting out again. My room was clean with all of the basic amenities in it. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to stay at.

I haven't even been able to stay here yet because our trip got rescheduled at the last minute..but the super nice lady at the desk called me to make sure that I needed to cancel both rooms that I had previously reserved and not just an online error! Thanks lady..that was very kind because that kind of stuff happens all of the time to me!! I will stay here sometime!!

We almost didn't stop here because of some bad reviews. However our experience was excellent! Beautiful pool, nice staff and clean rooms.
