The Hangar Sport & Events Centre

Story

The Hangar Sport and Events Centre is situated in the north end of the City of Toronto, and is located on the grounds of Downsview Park. The facility consists of 4 indoor soccer fields, a ball hockey arena, 2 multi sport courts, and 3 outdoor full size artificial turf soccer fields.

Over 600,000 people make their way through the facility on an annual basis. The operation also consists of several outdoor event locations that can accommodate patrons from anywhere between 1,000 and 40,000. Some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including the Rolling Stones and AC/DC have performed at the site, and hundreds of cultural and community events have also taken place at Downsview Park over the years.
