From the beginning, working with Parkview Manor and John Q was amazing. John Q guided us through the process, was open and honest with us, and answered the millions of questions and requests for an on-site visit over and over again. John Q went above and beyond, and was never pushy or rushing us into any decisions. After we signed our contract, Parkview was there to support us whether it was recommending vendors or advising next steps. We never felt left in the dark or waiting for any correspondences. Leading up to the wedding day, Parkview was very flexible with decor drop off and final decisions. They helped us carry out our vision and staff were able to set up everything as we wanted. On the wedding day, everything was ready. Bars were ready to pour, servers were aplenty during our cocktail hour, and the hors d'oeuvre were delicious! The in-house decor was a hit - the candle wall is a nice touch and not too common in the GTA. John Q also helped us a lot with that one. The FOOD, which is one of the most important factors we were looking for, was amazing, tasty, and cooked/prepared to how we wanted. The food tasted the same if not better than the tasting. The steak and chicken were incredibly juicy. Pastas and salad were spot on. We honestly crave the steak sometimes. We also tried the short rib during the tasting, and it was one of the best short ribs we've had. All of the in-house desserts were excellent. From the guests we have heard from, they loved the food and did not leave hungry. Deserving of its own separate note, the serving staff were great. They truly took care of all of our guests, and ensured that the bride and groom were eating too. We cannot rave about them enough. We cannot recommend Parkview Manor enough for their service - from pricing, to decor, to coordination, to honesty and communication, to food - Parkview checks all of the boxes. I would not hesitate to plan another event here. Cheers to the Parkview Manor team and John Q for an amazing experience. We would not have been able to have the perfect day without them.

We had an amazing team of vendors for our wedding back in Sept 2022 and Parkview Manor was definitely one of them! We were lucky to work with Chris from the very beginning. We went in for an appointment back in Jan 2020 to look at the venue and to meet him. Right off the bat, the vibe that Chris gave off was super-chill, incredibly funny, friendly, extremely calm, realistic and knowledgeable which shows as he has been in the industry for a long time which made me feel confident with the execution for the day of as he we also our day-of coordinator. It really takes a village to pull a wedding off and there’s just not enough thanks that can be given to Chris, Christine, Julio and the staff at Parkview Manor who went above and beyond for us on the wedding day and leading up to the wedding day. Through the postponements and all the dates changes due to covid, Chris was VERY responsive, I’m beginning to wonder how he managed doing anything else because he was answering my million and one questions =D. He walked us through all the choices and options we had to choose from and make related to the venue, there were a lot of them, and was always patient never pushy when it came to deciding. He was always pleasant to talk to whether via email or phone or in person, I just always knew he was going to have something funny to say as a response and to address all of my worries. He was extremely supportive, flexible and at a time where it could have been anything but, he made it easy for us. Chris was so accommodating with the multiple site visits and the dress rehearsal that we had leading up to the wedding day. He was very on-point and worked well with our other vendors on the day of the wedding, solving things on the go very quickly as they came up which is bound to happen since there are so many moving parts. We had our eastern and western ceremonies and reception at Parkview and the ease from ceremony into cocktail hour and transition into reception was seamless to the guests. I’m sure a lot of things happened behind the scenes, but it all came together and it was because of our reliable, professional and great vendors! We are still receiving compliments on the food that was served at Parkview Manor. From cocktail hour where the drinks were freely pouring we had an upgrade from the premium alcohol and the hors d'oeuvres that just kept on coming, everything was just top notch and the service was exceptional. Every single guest who we saw that night, seen since that, received messages since then, have surely commented and continue to rave about the four course meal that was served during reception and particularly the entrée which was the bone-in braised beef. They highlighted how it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding and how surprised they were at how it came out HOT considering we had about 300 people. Who can forget the night station…there were endless amounts of cakes, a large variety of tarts, sweets, tacos, fries, gravy etc. No one was leaving this wedding hungry, Not.A.Single.Person. Thank you Chris, this day couldn’t have happened without you and the Parkview Manor team!

We got married at Parkview Manor mid June and it was a dream! We had to postpone twice and Chris accommodated us hassle-free. Once my wife and I looked at the venue, we immediately booked. When booking vendors, often the first question is "where are you having your wedding?" Immediately, vendors will look relieved when hearing the name. We've heard nothing but great things and learned first hand why. Chris made our night stress free which really helped us especially not having a wedding planner. His professional expertise really shines. We had ceremony and reception on site. Amazing open bar! Chris is definitely the best & he's built an amazing team around him. Our guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. But the biggest highlight, was most definitely the food! Coming from a culinary background with friends and family whom are foodies, we expect the best and thats exactly what we got. Some dishes being the best we've ever had! I guess we'll just have to book another event just to eat, see you soon Chris! Highly recommend if you want a seamless event with seasoned food, ha!

My wife and I used Parkview Manor as our venue for our wedding this past Saturday. My wife and I were blown away with the sheer beauty of this place. All the staff before and during our special day ensured that everything ran smoothly and that our vision was was made a reality. Chris worked with us at every step and was unbelievably accommodating to all of our requests which help make our day so special. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, or any other special day, don’t hesitate on this place, you won’t be disappointed!

This review is for a staff holiday party that our company Devry Smith Frank LLP, had at Parkview Manor this past Friday, December 9th, 2022. We are a full-service law firm just two blocks down from Parkview Manor. We needed a banquet hall that was centrally located & could be easily reached by all 6 of our offices. From the moment we met John, we felt that Parkview was the right fit. He did a splendid job arranging the appropriate hall that would accommodate over 100 staff members. His menu selections were great & his team was able to accommodate any staff members with allergies. They were very accommodating & we at the company responsible for the Holiday party received many compliments from our staff. They enjoyed the venue, food, drink & entertainment. None of that would’ve been possible without John Q & his fabulous team at Parkview Manor. John, on behalf of myself, Mimi & Yousra, we thank you & your outstanding staff for all your fine efforts for his year’s holiday party! We wholeheartedly recommend Parkview Manor to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue. My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here at the end of July 2021. We were their first full wedding of the year, and everything went perfectly. The staff are amazing, the halls are beautiful, and our guests--our wedding being the first major event for most since the beginning of the pandemic--felt completely safe and taken care of. We booked Parkview Manor in February 2020, having visited over a dozen venues across the GTHA. John Q made us feel completely at ease no sales pressure unlike most other venues we visited and had the vision to make our wedding a reality. The rates were extremely reasonable and the amenities were excellent. We booked a few days afterward for a summer 2021 wedding. Then the pandemic hit. Like everyone, we had to adjust to this rolling reality and all the worries and uncertainties it brought. We never had to worry about our wedding at Parkview Manor. I know that if we booked with any other venue, we would be out of luck. John Q and the staff were honest, transparent, and proactive during the entire pandemic. They worked with us to ensure we could still have our wedding, instead of leaving us on our own or playing games. We ended up pushing our wedding back a month; Parkview Manor provided us several options without penalty for rebooking in July and afterward if COVID-19 restrictions required. Our special day could not have gone any better, regardless of whether we were in COVID-19 or before-times. Parkview Manor made this happen. If you're planning your wedding, please do yourself a favour and reach out to Parkview Manor. They made our planning and wedding day as stress-free and enjoyable as possible during a pandemic.

We hosted a birthday party in Sept 2022 at PM. The feedback we received from our guests was that the food was delicious, the service was excellent and they had a great time. I fully concur. I was invited to numerous weddings in the summer. The food and the service we had at PM was by far, the best period. Julio, our head waiter, was extremely thoughtful. It was a real pleasure dealing with Chris and John. They are extremely flexible and personable. I would highly recommend PM for anyone that wants to ensure that their guests enjoy great food and great service. The location is the icing on the cake.

Parkview Manor is simply one of the greatest spaces for private events in the entire city. Our event had to be postponed twice and Chris was able to accommodate us no issues whatsoever. The team at Parkview made sure that all the minute details were taken care of and each Staff treated our guests with the utmost professionalism. On the day of the event, everything was organized and our planning team had not issues with making sure that the space was up to our expectations. The food was absolutely incredible! We opted for an antipasto buffet for our appetizer and our guests could not stop raving how spectacular the calamari was. Everything from the salad Arugula, Parmesan, Sweet Apple, to the main course Beef Short Rib and Chicken Supreme, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Vegetables, and dessert Carmel Crunch was perfectly executed. The team listened to our feedback during the taste test and ensured that the overall experience went without any issues. The following week, we attended another event at another location and Vaughan and the experience was not even close to how amazing this place is. If you are looking for a Private Event space within the city, this should be at the top of your list. There is no other venue who demonstrates a high standard of excellence and we will be looking forward to the next time when we will need to find an event space.

We just had our wedding here and everything was perfect! We originally booked with Chris venue manager before the pandemic started so naturally we were worried about the outcome. Chris has made the transition and overall experience so easy for us during such a stressful time! Anytime we had a question he answered us immediately and accommodated anything we needed. We also inquired about having balloons hanging from our ceiling like some pictures on their website. He then recommended we speak with Julio who works there. Julio did an incredible job with the balloons and was reasonably priced. During our wedding we found the staff to be absolutely lovely! Branca was serving our head table and she was so on top of everything it was incredible! We found the staff were so kind and seemed happy overall which really tells us a lot about management. Overall the food was amazing, the prices were reasonable, the hall is in a great location with plenty of parking and I'd 100% recommend Parkview Manor to anyone looking for a hall for their event. Great job!!

Food was quite good... Pasta appetizer, then Caesar salad. Chicken was served hot, with good serving of potatoes. Some of us got a lot more vegetables than expected. Dessert was ice cream rolled in a crepe warning: has nuts. Folks with allergies got sorbet/ice cream instead. Coat check was small for the size of the event space. Overall pleased with experience. Our security staff were awesome and even got fed!
