The Flying Steamshovel Gastropub

Went for lunch last week. The service was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. We each got a burger one beef, one chicken and one side of poutine. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. I got a Ceasar which was also delicious, and our waitress offered my husband a taster to help his beer selection. Would recommend.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and this is becoming our favorite place to dine. We had burgers yesterday and It was by far the best burger I've ever had! The fish and chips are also amazing. Friendly attentive staff, friendly clean enviroment.

My husband and I visited Rossland for the first time and this is one of the restaurants that was recommended to us. We enjoyed it so much we went twice! Great food & service. I especially loved their eggnog martini!

We want to give a shout out to the amazing team at the Steamshovel. We went there for my birthday dinner tonight and despite having their order system down and needing to do everything by hand, they allnhad such happy attitudes. The gal who helped us get a table and waitlist sorted, the guy who took our drink orders and Shaq Attack who was our server were all the best and super positive. Loved the food as usual and had a great time there for my birthday!

Rooms are super nice and well thought out. No desk or real on-site support but if you are looking for a place to stay in Rossland this is a fantastic option.
