Nice location. Good specials. Dining/bar area had character and was cozy. Some of the food was great where others may have been lacking, but it still wasn't bad food per say. I'd still recommend checking it out for yourself. Would go back and try something different. Definitely get the Artichoke Dip.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: No
It's okay is the best I can come up with. The positives. Great location and cool atmosphere. I feel like people around me had a much better experience. Our experience. Walked in, sat at the bar with my wife and ordered a couple Kentucky Mules and the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. The drinks were possibly the worst I've ever had. I hate being mean, but these were undrinkable. I thought about asking the bartender if we could reorder, but he was MIA most of the time, and when we did see him, he seemed irritated by our presence. We paid for the drinks we didn't finish, and the $16 coconut shrimp which was subpar at best. If I were to ever come back, I would sit on the restaurant side as the servers over there seemed much friendlier and actually smiled.
In from out of town. Friend and I were looking for good food and a cocktail. Drinks were amazing; especially the seasonal specials. Nachos- every chip had stuff on it. A grilled cheese with artichoke dip and bacon to die for. Philly cheese steak add onions melt in your mouth... sides tater tots, Brussel sprouts, sweet potato waffle fries.... and finished off with fried icecream. everything was amazing. The food, drinks, and service. Special shot out to Stephen, thank you so much for your hospitality! I will drive 2 hours just to visit the copper post again.
The food was less than tasty, rice was not freshly cooked, vegetables were over cooked, chicken was hard to chew, Mac and cheese side was cold, crisp brussels were not crisp but drenched in sauce and put in a styrofoam container that melted. We didn't order VOC's but we got them anyway. Would not go back or recommend. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day here. ‍
Mark, the bartender, server and appeared to be many other hats, was great yesterday for our brunch/snack. We had the breakfast burrito and wedge salad. Both were great and this is worth the stop while in Grand Haven. Stopped in again for a beer to catch the UM game. Good atmosphere and the service very good. Funny how the place cleared after the game though.
The food & service is good. We have eaten there several time in the last year & they been consistent on both. They also have a good selection of bourbon. I would have and will still give them five stars if they make up a bourbon list. Any handwritten list with available bourbons and price. Thank you to the Staff for the Great service!. Parking: Parking lot in rear of building. Southside Wheelchair accessibility: Best option is front door.
A burger should match the bun. If your burgers are small, they should have smaller buns. That said, the burger I had was small, well done and flavourless. At $15,I really expected better. The other guest had a Reuben and it was good but both of our sides were cooked loosely used in a fryer that was too cold with the sweet potato waffle fries being for floppy and and expensive add-on and my tots were not crisp but over salted. Other than order, the only staff interaction was us asking for the bill so not even a query for food quality. Already knew? Hard to tell. I will not recommend.
This is an amazing restaurant! I went in for some lunch with my dad and I was amazed from the start. The hostess was super nice and brought us to the table and was really kind and friendly. If you go ask for a server named Hannah she was attentive, had knowledge on all the food on the menu, was super nice and just an all around kind person. The place was really clean and a good family friendly environment. My dad had the Ahi Tacos with fries which he said were amazing and I had the Philly cheese steak with sweet potatoes fries. The only issue I had was that I wanted to try their ultimate smash challenge but they told me it would be over an hour to make so I didn't end up doing it. But definitely a great restaurant and next time im in town I will be going again 10/10.
Such a disappointment. Finally got out with my husband. Thought we would try it. Food was not great. My gyro was awful. Might as well buy the frozen gyro kit from Meijer. I think that's what it basically was. No joke. Took $2 dollars off our bill to find out they charge 3% to use a credit card. Service slow. Didn't fill out waters, didn't ask if we needed anything else or another beer. Worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I've had bad food and I still don't say anything. This was awful. I really didn't want to pay for it. I'm sure most would have complained enough to have it off their bill but after waiting so long just to get a box and bill I was over it. Won't be back
Fantastic pulled pork. Whoever is making this really knows what they're doing. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was phenomenal. At the end I was sad because my food was gone . Their tater tots are some of the best I've ever had too. There's a light seasoning to them that really brings them to the next level. Can't wait to go again!
