A great place to eat! My friend and I were enjoying some beers from Grand Armoury Brewing which Dr. Rolf's shares a space with and we decided to get snacks/dinner from here. We were both blown away by the flavors and quality. I got the dirty tots with pulled pork to share and they were amazing! We decided to get dinner after that, as we were so impressed and wanted to try more. I got the 2 meat and 2 side platter with the pulled pork it's so good without any sauce even! and buffalo chicken things, with collards & green beans. Green beans were ok, collards were good. My friend got a burrito with brisket and loved it but it was huge and he had to take some home. Will definitely be going back when in Grand Haven!
HFC! This is the best BBQ I've ever had! I've had Great and Amazing, but this was Spectacular! The Grand Haven location is a little unique. It's located inside the Grand Armory Brewery. It's a nice atmosphere with high ceilings making it feel more open than it is. You can sit inside or out or get Takeout. Your drinks and food come from different locations. The ordering is different than most places too. You can either go up to the food counter to order your food and tell them your table number and they will deliver it. Then you go to bar to order your drinks and ditto. Also the only soda on tap is Draft Root Beer. The other way to order is to use your phone and 2 separate QR's. This brings you to toasttab. Here you order your food, and pay on your phone and they deliver it to your table. Then you have the drink one which also uses toasttab, but this time you open a tab. Select your drinks and they are delivered. When your all done you close tab and your all done. I ordered the 3 meats and 2 sides $25. I chose Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Beef Polish Sausage for my meats. For my sides I got Butter Beads and Fried Apples! It also came with Cornbread Waffle. For a drink I got the Draft Root Beer $2 each. Everything was Outstanding. My taste buds threw a rager! Everything was tender, everything had it own unique and wonderful taste.  I don't really know what makes them butter beans, but where have you been my whole life. The Root Beer was top notch, easily worth the price. Also the sauces I tried were Original, Peach Apricot, and Blueberry or Blackberry. The were all very liquid, aka not thick at all. I really liked them all. Sauce isn't needed, but it really does enhance the meats. The cornbread Waffle was the best cornbread I've ever had also, and the Honey butter just plain is heaven on top. The service for what it is was very good. Drinks came out very quick and food was delivered promptly when it was finished cooking. Overall am easy 10. I mean 5 star review. Would I return? Lol! Duh! Can we please get a location in Grand Rapids, preferably south side!
The food and atmosphere were amazing! Easy ordering off your phone and live music was a plus!
So first off, if you just want a review of the food, it's great! You should be hard pressed to find something not good on the menu! That said, this review is about the experience. It's poor, first and for most this is a bar. Not like places similar to the station bar and grill. Rather, a bar, with bar atmosphere and bar culture. It's pretty obvious the bar here wanted to serve food so for Dr. Rolf's inside. If you like or want a bar atmosphere then you should be fine. Else drive the 15-20min to the Muskegon location and eat at a restaurant. Or just do take out.
Visiting from Scottsdale AZ. THE BEST CHILI!!! The atmosphere, the decor is GREAT! Service was perfect!!! KayLeigh was awesome!!! Can’t wait til next year when we visit!!!

the tator tots were good but the chicken breast was so dry i think it sucked all the moisture out of my body when i ate it. drinks were aight, for a bbq place its super disappointing, i honestly don’t understand the good reviews here at all. fat L

Food was ok,a little pricey I thought, $25 for three 3 Oz portions of meat, and mashed sweet potato avoid it was not good. You never see a waitress, order on your phone, stand in line for your drinks. Our appetizer came with our food, but you tip when you order/pay way before service is rendered.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it hardly had any meat on it. It didn't really feel like I got 12 dollars worth of food. It was also really dry. The picture looked way better than the real thing. The collard greens were amazing!!
