One of the best restaurant in Grand Haven Downtown. Chicken Chilli was delicious, highly recommended it. Salmon dish wasn't the best , Salmon was overcooked . But Steak and Rosemary fries was perfect. Kids had so much fun with writing their name on walls Prices are fair .
This is definitely a restaurant I would visit again. Outdoor seating and music during the summer time. They are pet friendly, Im assuming outside area only. We had the nachos with the choice of plant based chicken, super good! Drinks where good and the service was excellent. Our watress Abby was a great server and very friendly. Their website also has a lineup of musicians/bands.
Great spot for food. We stopped in after walking around the town with the family. Lots of friendly staff and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Food was decent with very reasonable prices.
Good food, great atmosphere, fabulous service. They have dining setup on the street and we were able to eat with our dogs leashed at the table with us. Our waitress, Marley brought dog water & later a refill without being asked! Other reviews suggested we could eat at on the patio at Snug Harbor with the dogs, but not anymore. It sounds like people let their dogs off leash and ruined that as an option. We were so happy to have such a great option with our dogs. The photo is of my lettuce wraps.
It's like you're walking into a little tropical beach deck live music joint but all inside, great place! There's a couple large TVs up front for sports watching at the bar. Maybe a bit expensive for a family lunch but definitely great for a date night or friends groups. Also a teeny pricey but definitely worth it, the food is always banging! They also have good happy hour specials! This is their salmon BLT and chips.
The food was delicious in our opinion! Our friendly and amusing server Sky was quick with getting food in and out to us out on the upper deck as the sun was going down! We had a great time watching other's kids being excited over seeing the musical fountain start up! We left stuffed and with leftovers!! We will be back!
This is always been our go to restaurant. We love the new outdoor dining area, and have always enjoyed the upper deck. I’ve been a customer here for close to 20 years. However recently for some reason they no longer accept cash for any type of payment. You better have a credit card, or you will not be able to eat there. To the owners or anyone that is listening, please let me know when you decide to accept cash again, as it is “legal tender for all debts public and private”. I would love to start coming back to your restaurant.
The Kirby House is a very unique restaurant located in the heart of Grand Haven. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and their menu has a variety of options for both vegetarians and those who enjoy their meat & chicken! I ordered the Kirby Cashew Chicken Stir-fry w/ a virgin strawberry mojito drink. The food was very flavorful and the portions are more than enough for one person! In addition, their service was great and the wait wasn’t long. Highly recommend you trying them out if you’re in the area. Lastly, once you’re finished eating, make sure you walk around and check out the different shops in the area as well.
Wholly unimpressed with the food and dining experience. My party sat with menus for almost 15 minutes before someone took drink orders. My bloody mary was missing components supposed to come with cheese and I had none. When meals arrived, no one was satisfied with the food. I got the "wet burrito" and it and it was a mess. There was an ungodly amount of cheese and some sort of odd, sweet sauce. It was...strange. Edible, but strange. I will not be returning and wouldn't recommend it.
Roof top deck is a great place for a drink and some scenic views of the grand river and the mouth of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the loaded spicy Bloody Marys
