The Chase Fish & Oyster

Nice and friendly service. The fish is ok but the chips are very dissapointing. Seemed to be refried as opposed to freshly cooked. The portion I received was full of hard bits.

The chips in this place are so nice and everything you order is freshly cooked in front of you. I personally don't eat fish, so can't comment on that front but I guess the same batter is used on the sausages which are great too. I would also recommend the chicken burger or the onion rings, or why not both!

The TINY portion of Cod I paid nearly £6 for was more of a cod bite. I was shocked at the size.. Although generous with the large chips, they were not fresh, were bitty and so crunchy, you couldnt even put in a chip butty. Worst of all was the bottle of Diet Coke how can you get this wrong out of date on May 22...7 months Flat as a pancake won't be returning.

Only discovered this fish & Chips shop recently. Got to say its up there amongst the better fryers in the area. Brilliant selection, friendly and nothing's too much trouble

disappointed with the chips on a saturday evening, got chip bits and some not cooked. fish was good. been there previously and has been really good. 2020: good fish n chips

This is my local fish and chips and in my opinion the best. The fish tastes awesome and the chips are the best chip shop chips I've ever had. Strongly recommended

Very good fish and chips shop ,very clean and friendly staff. Good location for parking. And good selection on menu .it is take away only.

Hidden away on the side of the parade shops off the main road. Prices are not competitive, food does not look fresh or appealing. On lots of occasions does not have food ready in the display to grab and go.
