I recently stayed at the Champlain Hotel Orillia with my family, and we booked three rooms. We were very pleased with our experience. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The lobby was also well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and I would like to especially mention the manager, Vanchi, who assisted us during checkout—he was very approachable and made the process smooth and pleasant. The hotel’s location is excellent, being close to both downtown and the waterfront. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Orillia.

Bedbugs! Do not stay at this hotel. Woke up to find bedbugs in the bed. What a horrifying experience! We wish we had read the reviews about the bedbug problem at this hotel before we booked. Management was rude and dismissive about the bedbugs, yet knowing there was a problem, as the rooms had been recently sprayed!nThankfully, we saw the bedbugs and took precautions to prevent infestation when we got home. I wonder how many guests unknowingly took this nightmare home.nPlease be aware before booking.

Room: The room was okayish - decent size but not properly ventilated. The bathroom was neat and clean.nnBreakfast: Although it is a limited spread, the breakfast nice don’t have great expectations though.nnLocation: The location is great.nnParking: Totally limited, but the hotel did provide it at a nearby lot which is a 2-3 minute walk.nnOverall a decent experience but not so much for the price point.

I had a basement room. it's very tiny, and it smelled. the bathroom drawer didn't close. For the price paid it was completely not worth it . The parking is limited. They have a secondary parking lot you have to walk to. Views from the window are brick walls or in my case feet of people walking by.nStaff was nice though. Definitely would NOT recommend price doesn't match quality.

Nice hôtel very well situated, close to waterfront park, marina, restaurants and shops. Breakfast included was very satisfying and eating area was clean and tidy. Parking at hôtel is somewhat limited but they offer a tag to a parking a block away. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the washroom had a spacious shower and clean bathroom
