Econo Lodge

Hotel was very grungy except for the lobby which is deceptive.nSmelled like smoke as soon as you entered the staircase upstairs. Furniture in the room was very stained, old and ripped. I decided to shower when I got back home because I wasn't going to risk the one in there. You could feel the springs in the bed and sunk when you sat on it, but at least the linens looked clean and the place was quiet. I'm not usually picky, but I wouldn't stay here again. Needs a lot of work. Staff were friendly though.

I booked through online booking and stayed with my family including two small children. I had the worst experience of my entire life. I didn’t get what i was promised at the time of my booking, Room fridge wasn’t working, No remote control for the TV. Shower was leaking in whole washroom.nnWORST Of ALL there was a BED BUGS. I had bug bites all over my body and my family. I wouldn’t recommend for any type of stay in this lodge.nnOnline it says breakfast included. It’s a LIE, there’s no breakfast, they don’t even have a space to serve breakfast.

This place is in need of renovations, the beds are uncomfortable, the fan in bathroom did not work, the walls haven’t been washed ever, the door to the outside needs repaired it didn’t work and you could hear everything from outside, the walls are so thin I had to listen to the room next door till 4am. The pan handlers were out in full force that night and i didn’t feel comfortable leaving my truck in the parking lot. Save your money and book somewhere else for $100/night!!!! I think i deserve a refund only being there 6 hours.

I have not gotten an opportunity to use the rooms yet, but I would like to comment on the service that I received from Ms.Karleen Kaur. She was exceptionally kind, respectful and considerate. Upon entering the lodge, she greeted me with a smile and was professional throughout the check-in process. Because of her attitude, the atmosphere became lighter and I felt welcomed. Unfortunately, not all econo lodge workers at this location have been professional and welcoming as her, which caused me to not want to stay originally. Please hire more people like Karleen

This place is disgusting and in desperate need of a clean and renovation that I made sure I wrote a review and we didn't even end up staying there. Read further:nnWe had four rooms booked at the EconoLodge this summer, anticipating a simple but decent stay. However, the moment we stepped through the main entrance, we were assaulted by a revolting, musty, smoky stench that made our stomachs churn. It was like walking into a decades-old ashtray.nnUpon entering our rooms, we were greeted by an even more appalling scene. The beds were in shambles, barely holding together, and the air was thick with the nauseating odor of mold and mildew. The conditions were so unbearable that we couldn't bring ourselves to stay even a single night. We promptly gathered our belongings and fled to find refuge elsewhere.nnUnless you are in an absolute, dire emergency, do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. It is beyond unacceptable.
