The Cambie Bar & Grill

Went to The Cambie with a group to enjoy Happy Hour followed by live music on Sunday evening. Located in Gastown, this historic pub features heavily worn wood floors and tables that showcase its history and character. The Happy Burger and fries, chicharrón, and rum punch were affordable and generously portioned. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere shifted naturally from lively chatter among a celebrating sports team to a quieter, conversational space before the music started. A popular spot with authentic local character.

Pretty good food and drinks. Happy hour specials I think everyday.. The ambiance is very happy and easy-goin in there.. A lot of international folks as it's next to the hostel..

Amazing atmosphere and vibe. Great price for foods and drinks. Every Thursday night is karaoke night. Happy hours until 9pm. Beer and burger combo is only $10 and beer itself is only less than $4. Patio seats open on a good day.

You come here for exactly what you expect: a beer, some easy snacks, and a good time. A true Vancouver classic, with a laid back atmosphere and lots of students around. Honestly, I always end up coming back even after swearing I won’t. Affordable pricing, neither the food nor the drinks are spectacular, but they do the job. There are themed nights, good music, and I’ve witnessed or occasionally been part of a few fights inside and outside the place nothing too serious, but enough to become part of the story. That’s the thing about this place: it’s one of those classic bars you’ll always come back to… even when you swear yourself you won’t.

Random brain fart led me to book a one way ticket to Vancouver.... boom here i am... 3 hours back in time with no DeLorean...this place offers breakfast to die for... happy vibe and great atmosphere... like a Canada version of Cheers in Boston but way better cuz we will not be out done... staff is amazing... I laughed so much I had to take a break and sightsee Vancouver but this is a must visit for anyone... best burger I've have ever had...coin style games to play... beer pong tournaments... DJs... Live music... something to enjoy every day... do not miss this little slice of paradise...
