Moxie's Grill & Bar

A quiet place with great staff and great cocktails the bartender seems knowledgeable and downstairs music is very nice at the bar. The bathroom is kind of odd however as they make the lights extremely bright and the music Extremely Loud to deter from homeless people outside. They have their own pizza oven so the pizzas taste very nice.

The service was slow to start. Took about 10 minutes to get a drink order. Once we ordered food, the service was better. The food came out in a good time and the waiter refilled drinks. He made his presence known once everything was out. Started off unpleasant but got much better.

Unbelievably disappointing. For a franchise you really would expect more but this was just sad. Walked in around 9 pm, to what appeared to be a ghost town other than two other guests and the bartender, or perhaps manager looked at us, didn’t say hello, and upon the unwelcoming interaction we had asked if they’re were closing - he said no, so we requested for a table or of two. After being sat we waited for 10 minutes. The staff clearly had no desire to be there, as they would look at us but continue to linger by the bar as if they were lost. We then decided to leave and the couple beside who seemed to be waiting for their waiter then said “yeah no service, they’re just back there smoking”. The staff seemed more interested in flirting with each other behind the bar than serving the four total people in the restaurant. Won’t be back here.

Great variety of food. Fast service and lovely ambiance. I especially like the Ahi Tuna Salad or the rice bowl. Reasonably priced as well.

Meh it’s okay. Foods pretty good. Service is nice, but not very fast. Menus pretty small and overly expensive compared to their competitors.
