The Broadview Diner

This establishment offers a much improved dining experience compared to the old establishment. Had brunch here and quite a bustling place. Staff was efficient to get you seated. Service was good and staff was attentive. Food wise wasn’t my top 3 favourite specifically the home fries lacked flavour. Has vegan / vegetarian options.

My meal, the liver, was quite good overall. The mashed potatoes were kind of dry, could use some milk or cream added to it and mixed in, but otherwise the liver itself was very good. Daily special was the lasagna and that was very good as well. Service was 10/10. I’d definitely recommend this place. The menu was quite large with a lot of variety so I’d definitely want to come back and try more items.

We went on Saturday and the place was crowded. The service was not bad considering how full it was. The place is well decorated. Overall the food is good, but we didn't like the home fries, because it was cooked potatoes not fries at all, and the pancake was a bit heavy.Food: 3/5

Okay, so this is my 3rd time visiting this place. The food, service and location is no doubt one of the best. We ordered the Signature Fish and Chips and the Waffle supreme. Both dishes were perfect and delicious. Will visit again for sure.Food: 5/5

It’s cosy and sweet. The waitress was really polite. I didn’t like the pancakes they were bland and like biting a rice cake. The potatoes were also not a favourite of mine.Food: 3/5

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Sue is an amazing server who accommodated our large group and promptly got all our orders out. The food was was great and everyone had a good time. Definitely would recommend here for a great diner experience!Food: 5/5

Came in as a group of 15 during lunch hour and SUE is the BEST! She accommodated all of us immediately and even let us pay individually. She’s a true GEM navigating this whole place on her own. I ordered the breakfast poutine and it’s really filling but great value and tastes amazing! Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5

Very very friendly waitress that serviced us. Fast service and very clean little restaurant. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. The waffle with seasonal fruit was delicious and the Big breakfast was more for two people, delicious as well.Food: 5/5

Awesome family friendly diner. We live around the block and have started coming regularly for breakfast/bunch in the weekends. The pricing is great for the portion and has a great classic diner feel. The staff are super friendly and are interested in building rapport with clients. We see Sue every time we go. She is such a hard worker and thoughtful. They get busy in the weekends so going a bit before the brunch rush is a good idea. It’s great to see a new business in the area get this sort of traction. This last time we went they brought over a special birthday pancake which was such a lovely touch! See the heart shaped pancake picture Definitely a great neighbourhood staple and I hope to try some of their lunch specials soon! Update: we tried the chicken fingers and they are so amazing! They are made in house ie not frozen or pre-packaged and have a nice light breading. I have a new favourite chicken finger place.
