The Boot Social Pizzeria

The Boot is a really neat contemporary Italian restaurant with elements of traditional Italian and modern culture. It's a cozy place with nice tables and chairs, beautifully lit by big open windows. The food is all traditional European style cooked fresh and fast. The pizza is actually pizza, not the excuse that we are often served. I highly recommend trying it and heading over for a visit. Can't wait to go back

Fresh pasta and pizza. Great spot for lunch. Staff are friendly. It's a smaller restaurant so I would recommend reservations if visiting during peak times. There are many pizza options including gluten free. The rest of the menu is tapas style, designed for sharing. Pasta can also be made gluten free. They are also very accommodating with customizations. Would recommend!

Waited over an hour to be seated. Not great food and very limited beer selection. Once, I came early to get a good table for my family dinner out - they won’t take a reservation and it gets busy - I don’t know why, the food is nothing special. They wouldn’t give me a table for four so that we can get a comfortable seat unless the entire group is here. Waited over an hour. Who does that ?? So, if someone’s late you can’t have a decent table. ... There are better places to eat in Oakville where I don’t have to wait for over an hour to sit!

4.5 / 5 stars. I went on a week end with my family and I have to say that the positives were that the Pizza was delicious, the service was very good and the place decor was to my taste. You can see that the owners put attention to details on the decor and it is an overall very good experience. The NEGATIVES, and they are easy to fix (hopefully owner reads these)... are: First, the little square plates are of the wrong shape and too small...you serve Pizza, so please provide plates that can accept what you sell..all 3 of us were struggling to keep our slices within the plates... Second negative was that the knives were regular butter knife and these poor knives could barely cut the thin crust Pizza, so if we would have had larger round plates and steak knives (or any knife with decent teeth), that would have been an almost flawless experience. I will definitely return for the "Butcher's block" Pizza. Prices are probably 15% - 20% more than they should be, so as other reviewers mentioned, i did think that the prices were too high but on the other hand, the owner did obviously invest good money in his/her business.

Best gluten free pizza we've ever had in any restaurant. Apps were amazing. Place was packed, a testament to the food. Fresh ingredients. Mozzarella sticks fresh made and stretch for miles.
