Mo's Family Restaurant

Just an okay restaurant. Been here twice now. Probably will not return. Sandwiches and wraps are awkwardly prepared, lasagna was good but their 'famous' butter chicken was just okay. Caesar salad is way overdressed and lacks lemon. Everything seems to have a weird sweetness. Service is warm, friendly and professional. There is no atmosphere to speak of...basically a banquet type hall setting but it is a popular restaurant.

My husband and I had breakfast here and it was fantastic! The food was super tasty, the portions were huge, and everything came out quickly and hot. You definitely get great value for your money.nnThe service was also excellent — fast, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable right away and leave completely full and happy.nnWe’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Oakville. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great classic breakfast spot!

My boyfriend and I picked something up in Oakville then decided to find dinner someplace near. A quick Google scan showed up Mo's Family Restaurant. When we arrived there was only one table occupied and when we were done it got considerably more full. What I enjoyed about our meals was the portion size. He ordered the 2 piece fish and chips, I got their jambalaya special with caesar salad. There was a decent amount of shrimp and meat which made me happy. I didn't finish all my dinner so now I have leftovers for tomorrow! It came out piping hot! Unfortunately I didn't get our server's name - she was a lovely gal and always checked in on us and didn't make us feel pressured to leave after we paid our bill. I can see why people are flocking to Mo's - great food and service!

Food here tastes like home cooking, the kind my grandmom used to make. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the place felt warm and welcoming. If you want simple, real, very tasty food, this spot is a must try.
