Stoney's Bread Company

This was a cute spot in Oakville that we stopped at for a quick dinner! The food was delicious, but I found it quite pricey for what it was. The daily special chicken sandwich was $19 and the jambalaya pasta was $25 which was a big excessive in my opinion for a take-out/cafe style spot I could get pasta for the same price at an actual sit-down Italian restaurant. Everything was delicious though!

We ordered daily burger and slow roast lamb sandwiches which were tasty, juicy and delicious. The vibe was super cozy and quiet as well as friendly.nThe only unpleasant comment was the food preparation timing. It took almost 30 minutes to get the sandwiches. Considering it was not rush time 2pm, it was not acceptable.nOther than that, everything was great and definitely recommend this place.

So we stood in line n ordered n then was give a table , the coffee already cold n cakes came after 20 min , and food came after almost 35 min , it wasn’t a full house , the waiters did their job mundanely , food portions were good but average in taste and quality ! The Hollandaise sauce in the florentine was so bland ! Not going back

A close friend introduced us to Stoney's more than a decade ago, and we've been visiting when we're in the area ever since. Their sandwiches are delicious albeit often a bit messy to eat, unique, and generously portioned. There are also a good variety of soups, salads, pastas, and pizzas too.nnOur latest visit confirmed that the food there is as excellent as ever, and it's staying on our list of go-to places!nnThe inside is spacious with ample seating, and there's a small patio area outside. It does get busy because the place is popular, so be prepared to wait during peak dining hours or weekends.

Portion size is very hefty. Couldn’t finish but it was a good meal. Their vinaigrette is particularly yummy. Good fresh ingredients for a satisfying meal.
