Stunning location on the second floor and a glassed in patio affords stellar views of the water and the city. Ample pay parking is a plus as well. I enjoyed a seat by the fire as I was dining alone. Delighted to find one of my favourite white wines - William Hill Chardonnay, I paired it with the mussels with chorizo. A perfect brunch!! Excellent service and overall experience. A local gem!
We had a great experience when visiting The Boathouse. The food was delicious and the service was great. They accommodated our request of having an ocean view table, even when the restaurant was packed. My husband appreciated it as it was his first time being near the ocean. We will definitely be back!
Went there for my friend graduation dinner! I was so full to do on the spot review but the experience is exceptionally good! The food is just so great we ordered to much for the appetizer we barely finish our main course because we we're so hungry from the graduation ceremony, we ordered alot and our server too she's so friendly but I forgot her name
The view was excellent. Service was great! They accommodated us when we asked for a table a little away from others, as we had two older people with us with health concerns. The food was pretty good, too! I would return for sure.
My server was excellent! 5/5 Barrel Aged Margarita 3.5/5 didn't taste balanced to me Was Bitter Northwest Seafood Pasta was 4/5 I've had better/fresher at other restaurants One issue on my visit, on one of the hottest days, the hostess sat me by the window facing the waters which is nice but.. I was sweating while eating my pasta... Learn from my mistake and ask to be moved.. Not the best experience for me..
The view was not bad considering the restaurant was beside the beach. However, I found it hard to find the specific parking lot for the restaurant, as there was no clear signage to follow. Food was decent. I ordered the coconut cod and the seafood chowder and I thought it was pretty good. My friend got the seafood pasta and had mentioned that it didn’t taste the best. Dessert was huge!
Until last night I was always under the opinion that you could find a restaurant with good food or a good view but not both. That changed last night when visiting the Boathouse at Kits Beach! We stopped in last evenining for Mother's Day supper and the food was great and the view spectacular! I had the baked Salmon with roasted potatoes which were tasty and well prepared. We also had a calamari appetizer and a fresh greens salad. Definitely a new fave for me in Vancouver!
My go to restaurant for catching a sunset - GREAT VIEWS. Classic style and interior. Higher end vibe. There is a large parking lot nearby, so you'll never have to circle around for parking. Portions could be slightly larger, but food has never disappointed!
First time I've ever had crab or lobster - amazing! Our waiter, Daniel was such a great host as well. The scenery was so beautiful as well.
Yummy food. Ordered the seafood appetizer platter, which satisfied my craving for fried foods. Wine pricey, double the cost of what you would pay in a liquor store. Nothing new. Arrived after sunset so no view. Service super friendly.
