Can’t really beat the location. Delicious food and very reasonably priced, easily could be twice the price and people will pay it. My only suggestion is to train the serving staff just a touch more. Our server was very friendly but didn’t know the menu that well and disappeared for about 10-15 mins while we were trying to wave someone down to get our bill. Slightly better training and this place will shine.
Best clam chowder ever!!!! I've tried hundreds of them, but this one is something beyond the real life. Their chef is the best so far... atmosphere is nice. Patio in front of sunset is amazing. Will come here again for sure.
The food was delicious but the food service was a little slow. We received our starters promptly but the mains came a little slow. We were a party of six though. The truffle fries was delicious! The kusshi oysters are sweet and succulent.
Out for dinner with friends and we had a friendly and helpful staff. Nice view of the sunset at English Bay. They have happy hours. Food was lovely. Recommend truffle fries 1 page of drink menu yet I wish for a bit more on main course selections though.
Great location near English bay. Oysters and mussels are fresh and wings and fries are done right. Attentive service but it's a weekday lunch so not very busy.
We came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. The restaurant inside was not too packed, as most diners were taking advantage of the patio seating on a beautiful day. Staff were friendly and food was great. Everything tasted very fresh, which is always a good thing when it comes to seafood. Looking forward to coming back and checking out their happy hour menu. We ordered the calamari, mussels and fries, and Thai red curry with rice noodles. The red curry was my favourite, and I would definitely recommend adding the rice noodles +$3. We had the mussels and fries with white wine and herbed butter - while the mussels were great, the fries were just OK. The calamari came with pico de gallo, which balanced the battered squid very well. The drinks were also lovely. My Caesar came with an oyster on top!
came here on Canada day , suprisingly this place is not busy at all in this great location. The oysters were awful. They were small and dry . There were piceses of shells on all oysters. They were also not fresh and 2/12 were bad that i had to spit itout. Mentioned to the servicer , he just the plate away without any acknowledgement. will not come back here for oysters again.
The service was great! They were very helpful and emphatic, I got Fish and chips 2 pc. and shared with my daughter because the portions are very well served. The location is very convenient where you can appreciate the view of the beach.
We walked in with out a reservation on a Friday night. We were seated immediately and the view was pleasing. The service was attentive with out feeling pestered. A detailed explanation of items on the menu was helpful. The food was fresh, delicious and beyond plentiful. I will definitely return to enjoy this intimate delightfully decorated restaurant.
The Caesars come with an oyster! We really enjoyed our brunch. Definitely will be a regular weekend place.
